End Of The Year Celebrations

Well, as it's officially the last day of my second year of uni, I'm entitled to party it large to the early hours with a load of drunken mates at the union. There's gonna be loads of crap there, such as cheesy DJ's and some weird-ass steel band (??), so in my infinite wisdom, I suggested starting a BBQ, in public, right outside the union at 2am, when the place shuts.
So i've got my night sorted, but what about you all?? Any of you lot going to your uni's final fling?? Do they do anything special?? Or, like mine, do they just charge £8.50 for a night that's worth £3.00, and excuse themselves by supplying us with cheapy t-shirts that end up scribbled all over in permanent marker??

| don't officially finish for another 2 weeks but my laste (ever) exam is tuesday so there can be no doubt that i shall be partying so hard for the summer. no talking about one night. its gonna be a summer long of madness as i finally will reach the end of my education. for that it is worth celebrating properly! |

Got in to uni at half 9 this morning and people were sat on the mound outside our library having a bbq!
Its already started in the union, just back from there. Going over in a hour to start the drinking and carry it on till some time tomorrow morning. 15p vodka at the bar later as well :D
We've got the whole t-shirt thing going on tho the price is made a bit easier with the free drinks tokens |

well i finished my 2nd year yesterday but aint done anythin to celebrate yet as im in skint :(
at our union they have some thing called survivor when its like 15hrs of drinking. ive done the 15hrs + more bout 3 times now and is always a good laff like, but i think i may well be going home before the one this term :(
Im going to Promise Vs Goodgrief on sunday tho so that will be my celebration :D |

Finished my second year on Wednesday, Uni doesnt officially finish for a couple of weeks yet.
We've got this summer ball at a local Abbey, wicked back drop for a good ol' piss up
Girls Aloud are headlining, and i aim to be upfront if i get to meet that Cheryl bird, i.e. "Fancy a cup of tea and a love?"
If i get turned down by her ive got another 4 to work my sleaze bag magic on
Main reason im going tho is Norman Jay is there doing a 2 hour set :happy2: |

Well I have to say that was a quality day/night. Started drinking at about 2pm (a bit late for my liking, but I didn't get out of bed :p). Was hammered by 2:30, and spent the afternoon cooking food on a make-shift BBQ and drinking cheap european beer.
Then the night kicked off with some fairly good old-skool trance classics at about 8, and went on til 2am. After which everybody just hung about outside kicking a beachball around, and smacking each other with giant inflatable dolphins. All in all, it was a great night.

Which uni you at cos thats exactly what happened here. All the dolphins got released of the roof of the library at 2.10am |

Teesside Uni. I didn't realise there were other TA's in boro other than Toufas and myself. Heh, small world. Did you get one of the dolphins?? They were class haha.
