I'd be getting the problem fixed with your friend first before I worry about the headphones . . . :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:

while I think of a place the headphones should get fixed, what tracks should I listen to?

few places on City Road, South Melbourne might be of help
think its C&C music or something, that strip has alot of handy audio outlets.

or write a letter to Sony stating whats happened, say the product was inferior to product testing? haha
just make some bs up making their product seem obselete and i'm sure they'll send you out a brand new set to restore your faith in their Japanese empire.

I deal with sony day in, day out and they are the single worst company in the world for service. If u call 1300 55 1234 u will get sony retail sales and they can advise u who their service agent is nearest to u. if u still get stuck the place of purchase is able to organize repair ( and leagally has to).
