I personally don't get why KH ever gets votes, or is in these polls..
Yeah, it's a helluva lot beter than Guv main room, but only open for all access and special events last I checked, so it's not a weekly option.
Not to mention, it's a big rectangle, with bench seating by the main bar, and that's it, crowd leaves a lot to be desired, and although it's roomy to start, you end up sardined as bad as Guv eventually, not to mentin getting around to the rest of the complex.
KH is not a club, it's a special event room. That's like voting for the Palais Royal, or ACC, just becasue some EDM events are there. |

I agree! KH *has* had good events...but that's just it...it's for events. I know I'm in the minority, but I HATED the Decadence setup...I MUCH preferred the old setup (like for G&D, IM and Rank 1).
Guv when it's not too packed is unbeatable for me...although I have yet to hit Boa. The vibe in there is great when I'm with a big group of people. They key is getting out of there before the end of the night when you realise that you're dancing in the middle of a big pile of garbage :stongue:
System is good...too many people I really don't like there on certain nights...doesn't feel "friendly"...ditto for places like the Docks. Must check out Boa (and Viva) sometime. |

| I don't like the guv mainroom but KH is my #1 spot. With Systems and Boa a close 2nd and 3rd. |

| I can't understand what the draw is to System Soundbar, I mean I like it once in a while, but hearing the same DJs and seeing the exact same crowd every week (with it's perpetual lack of girls)... Don't you ever want a change? |

yea ure right... system is geting boring and repetative for me.. so i vote for boa.
people are what they are, music is great, and setup is superb. |

It was getting that way for me, so I simply took a good break.
As for variety of DJs though, Breathe is different everyweek, with maybe the backroom being the only true constant, but I doubt anyone would want a change of Dave Saddler/Big League Chu/Red Turtle in the back. As for the main room, they have a lot of great resident locals who rotate, but System has International guests nearly 3 out of 4 weeks each month.
System got a little stale during the renos, but since the scene didn't take january off this year, it was the same everywhere I went. For me, System is one of the few places with that overly friendly Industry-tye vibe in Toronto, and one of the best balanced crowds.
