Can someone recommend me some good recent tech-house?
Thx in advance ;) |

I think tranceaddicts (including myself) aren't too up to date on recent tech-house. The genre falls just outside of the sphere of stuff most people here keep tabs on.
The newest one I know of is D-Clash, but just because it got widespread play. The best tech-house I've heard is Aril Brikha's Art of Vengeance EP (Groove La Chord, Wayback) which I stumbled across while digging through an old record collection someone was getting rid of. |

Check out Terry Francis's set @ Subsub 2003. It's rare but it's well worth the search.
Also, a bit old, grab the 2001 essential mix of Lee Burridge and Craig Richards (Together as Tyrant). It's one of the best tech-house mixes, if not, one of the best mixes I've ever heard.
There's also the American side of Tech-house, which I am not much into, such as DJ Dan, Donald Glaude, etc. |

You rang? :D
I won't be that much of help either I'm afraid, as tech house really isn't my thing, and because the term tech house is dodgy enough, as a lot of the stuff that gets labeled tech house is often minimal house or techno.
However, try some stuff from Terry Francis and Laurent Wolf, as well as these:
Omni AM - Tubes For Allah (and all other tracks on Kastmaster)
Patrick Zigon - Wildlife
Commercial Breakup - Superman
Rene Breitbarth - Startover
MRI - Blue
Chaser - Tall Stories
Anti-Trance Terrorists - Who Dunnit? <- A-TT = Peace Division's techy side of house music
The Reaver - Fever (Darren Emerson Remix)
Juan Recoba - Alpha |

Firstly, cart your arse on over to the tech-house board:
http://pub118.ezboard.com/btechhouse
They've got plenty of charts and stuff and -loads of demo sets to download, plus guys like Jay Tripwire, Joshua Collins and Tyler Stadius post there.
Secondly, go out and buy the last two Fabric albums. The Craig Richards one is two CDs full of dark, glitchy, down-tempo, slightly atmospheric stuff (and bloody amazing - arguably the best CD I've bought all year) while the Eddie Richards one has a bit more groove and funk to it. Either way, if you like tech-house you can't go wrong for the price.
Thirdly, I'm with tracknames so I won't bother... :p |

I was about to say everything you just did, sans the forum part.
Highly recommend stuff by Jay Tripwire. |
