| does sound to me like physical abuse...maybe an ill tempered family like mine but not abuse....people call everything abuse nowadays..unless hes punching you and shes doing the same it aint abuse...unless ur waking up bleeding and blue from the night before cause of afigt with ur parents its not abuse...Ive taken punches by my dad in the past..i never saw it as physical abuse..hell if i had a kid and he said what i said to my father to provoke him i think id punch him in the stomach too..people dont know angry discipline from real abuse anymore..they cry wolf whenever they can |

C'mon Vividboy, realize this is not funny. Yeah, I took belts, fists, and clubbingss from my father, may he rest in peace, but it was to bring a point home I reckon. That kind of abuse is not tolerated these days. I haven't beaten the bejesus outta of my three sons of high school age, even though they've ran away, stolen from me, and committed some some serious crimes. I can even mark a reserved parking space in my driveway for the police for the amount of times they've been to my house. These kids have to grow up, but physically abusing them is tantamount to torture and doesn't accomplish anything.

| See I'm all for spanking your kids within limits (I mean my father basically physically abused me with spankings but yet if I was not spanked, I'd probably be in jail). Yes parents are crazy, my parents are perfect examples but I mean I know put myself in their situation, I mean if my parents had a kid like me, with never listened and constantly beat the crap out of people and never listened to time outs, what the heck would I do?. It's easy to sit here and judge our parents for it and it is easy to say our parents are crazy, most of them are, judging by the stories I've heard on TA but most of us are better off, because most of us would have been charged with some crime if they had not attempted to straighten us out. I can't stand the people who say spanking is wrong, I mean if I'm not abusing my kid and I'm not causing bruises, and I'm trying to be the best parent I can then who says you can say I'm wrong. My uncle and aunt are those people, their kids are mean trouble makers, all because they never spanked their kids. I mean it's easy to say our parents are wrong but wait till we get married and have them...lol....I can just see it...wait that's why I'm not having kids..so I don't have to deal with that issue. |

So let me get this straight, you want to fight your own mother, you are really pathetic, I understand you are angry but hold on a second, if your mother is really crossing the line, talk to the police instead of just moaning about it. About the Christian thing, it is easy to point to the speck in someone else's eye while ignoring the plank in yours. |

Kam: You need to back up for a second and breath. Now with that done you should take a look at getting evidence weither that be a tape recording or video pictures. You can call the Police, CPS, or even talk to a consoler at school. There is many paths to fix this problem and they are up to you to walk down. Make sure you take care of your sister aswell. Do not take any harse actions such as suicide, can you picture what your sister would be like without her little brother? If you want somebody to talk to I am here on MSN a lot. [email protected]

lol, my dad used to beat me up with a ing stick 7 years ago, but i knew i deserved it. personally i dont think it's possible for a parent to not hit their child at least once in their lifetime. although i say to myself i aint gonna hit my kids, i know that's never gonna happen, especially if my kids recieve mostly my genes, then they're going make me lose it and one day and BAM!! |

I still have pinch marks from my mom and scars on my thighs from my dad. it's funny thinking back, except that one time when my dad socked my stomace and knocked the ing wind out of me when i was only 7. |
