The one piece of advice I can give you regarding your situation, is don't live in the moment so much. In a couple of years time you will have the legal right to move out and no oe will be able to stop you. People have been wrongfully convicted and done decades of time in prison under the worst conditions humanly imaginable, surely you can live for a couple more years with your ty mum, slitting your wrists would be letting her win, letting a couple of lousy years with her, destroy a potential 60 or more years that you could spend living happily. Think big, don't get stuck in the moment... remember "that which does not kill me only makes me stronger". |

Well, I got bitched at yesterday for e-mailing my grandparents about it. And yes, I'm 13. 14 in October. If I could find the video camera, I would of recorded it all, and shown it to the good ol' cops. And also, I'm out of school for summer break, so no counselor there, though they are aware that these things have happened in this place(the only reason my parents didn't find out is because I said that I didn't see it as child abuse yet{whenever it was happening to me}, as my chest held through the hits inflicted upon it, despite the pain I had breathing.), so if anything happens during the end of August, the counselor and principal will be ready.
And oh yea, I un-installed Ad-Aware 6 and Spybot yesterday :D. See how she manages to work the computer now ;). |

There's a lot more to it than just spanking. It's not like spanking automatically keeps a kid in line. My parents have never laid a hand on me, and the same goes for a majority of my friends, and we turned out just fine. If you raise your kids right there's no reason to touch them even once. |

If you report mom and the police cart her away, they'll cart you away as well. If they declare her unfit, you could become a ward of the state and end up in a foster home.
You have to think about that part as well. |
