I dont mean to be all egotistic and , but the truth is, i have very few friends who are actully smart. today, one of my friends dropped by and was stunned that i was reading a book. she continued to laugh at me, so i kick her out and sent her home. i didnt feel insulted, just frustrated...and ive realized with quite a few of my friends that all the stupid ones listin to rap. no offence to anyone, its its the straight truth. all my friends who are into hiphop are dumb as . i dont know why i chill with them. none of them tolerate trance..the bash me for everything i do, ie: Readin, studying, starting conversations that are too..advanced for them. when really, alot of the girls i know would just like to talk about makeup and clothes. and thats fine. there are countless girls like that and im not saying there stupid. but the fact that all my friends cant hold a conversation about anything that has words with more than 10 letters. I bring up a conversation about movies, talking about how i enjoyed this movie, high art, the other night. she says "what the is that? artsy fartsy homo bull! watch a real movie leon!"
She hands me "Save the Last Dance" and Charlies Angels: Full Throttle. While i can't lie, i fully enjoy cameron diaz, lucy liu, and not so much drew barrymores and ass, but theres a difference between good solid movies, whether it be big time, or a small student film. but anything that doesnt have buxom bitches and guns goin off or sappy cheesey hollywood romancy flicks, they wont watch. They wont tollerate any of my music. I need a couple new friends. so ive turned to TA. If you saw my post and thought thats long and left thats fine. if no one answers, i look some place else.
Im basicly giving out free hugs here.
ps. i have many smart friends, but i dont have such a good relationship with them. and i cant seem to aquire one. is it just me!? or the people!? if its me, tell me what im doing wrong. its not a crime to wanna learn and read and enjoy good movies and listin to amazing music, so why are these fools treating it like one!?! |

| Ummm no I know plenty of people who are quite smart including myself who enjoy hiphop.... Well the non comercial side but still hiphop... To say that stupid people listen to one specific genre is a stupid thing to say... Grow up let them have their opinions if they get their jollies off too louie vega let em be....... |

| i didnt mean it like that, sorry. it was just a cross examination that my stupid friends listing to (i know what i should of said) I ment HIP-POP. Big difference. i dont mind a little hip hop once and a while, but only underground and oldschool is good for me. |

Ahh, you might also want to consider changing that attitude of yours towards people you percieve to be below you in terms of mental capacity, that might help, not only with people you see as stupider, but also with people you see as smarter/just as smart/almost as smart. |

| it just frustrates me, what else am i supposed to do. i dont consider my self ing einstien thats FOR SURE. but i believe im of more intelligence that alot of 15 yr olds. i dont think my additude matters that much right now, because they are the ones who are being so intollerant. ill try changing the attitude. but i garantee you, i can even prove to you, you talk to these people on msn, you'll know. if you want to go to that length ill show you. its frustrating. |

Hmmm. First of all, take it easy with the associating of tastes with mental capacity. There is enjoyment to be had in virtually any form of art, including hip-hop.
Secondly, your post would come across as more sincere if you would use spelling and grammar remotely correctly. Not to be a jerk, but such irony can surely not be lost on someone of your abiliity.
It's easy to feel inundated by the mass of the bell curve lying to the left of you. Go take up a "smart" hobby. There are many, many terrifically intelligent people out there for you to discover and buddy up with. |

about the spelling mistakes, i typed it out as fast as possible because of the length. see, if you all knew these people ..right now you cant dare know rude, annoying, inconsiderate, STUPID these people are. i dont need super smart people. just people who can keep a conversation going, and people who dont insult for wanting to learn . |
