Why u joined TA!!! (pg. 2)

I joined because of Jeff (gcrasher) back in Nov 2003 after Ferry at HOB. It was right around my b-day and he had been a TA for a little while and Phil (Vero) had gotten a hotel room for the afterparty. I had no idea where we were going or who we were going to meet. Apparently Ferry was supposed to join us for dinner. It was a surprise to me. I met everyone at dinner and then we went to the club. After not having to wait in line and then going backstage to talk to Ferry and Rap, I was sold. Ferry didn't make it for dinner, but afterwards came back to our hotel room with a bunch of TAs and Suzy and Brian. Then when Ferry and his manager were getting ready to leave, I asked Jeff if he would take them back to their hotel. So we got to take them back and it was the best night ever. I have never had a bad TA experience, maybe a few I don't remember towards the end due to sleep ;), but everyone has always been cool and I really enjoy not having to deal with drama. I really love TA!

ex-dj
For all of you who don't know, you're about to learn the reason for the name "ex-dj" :haha:

I got started with this trance thing way back in '98 when I heard Oakenfold's Tranceport & Global Underground New York and was sold on the sound. Then in '99 when I was in college I lived with a guy that was a trance DJ. They threw some wicked house parties at that apartment, started to play around on the decks, partying like crazy, and other unmentionables ;) Got my own gear and started spinning myself and this continued through til 2002, then I got out of the scene cuz my ex and I split and most of the people I knew into trance were through her. Also, I was starting my own business then and it took away all my time, so I stopped DJing completely... hence the name.
Sep 2003 rolls around and I'm missing the old trance days so I go searching the net for some events and up pops the FLTA page. I signed up and at this time I still had been on a year and a half break from DJing so I chose the name "ex-dj". Then after going to my first event, Ferry @ HOB in Nov and meeting some really cool fellow FLTAs, I was inspired to start up mixing again making this name somewhat misleading. The rest is history.
I am thankful to have met each and everyone one of you, it's always a great time when we get together and I think we should do it more often to be honest. Its also great that I now have endless amounts of good music to listen to again, thanks to TA I've discovered so many great DJs and producers: Markus Schulz (as a DJ), Gabriel & Dresden, Sander Kleinenberg, Suzy Solar, Filo & Peri, and probably quite a few more I can't think of off the top.

you just can't get a hold of much good trance, specially hard stuff like papi scot's stuff back home.
I got here through a friend, who introduced me to shadow lounge/hard trance as well as the rest of the amazing trance producers. then got the oportunity to move to miami, where i've met the most incredible friends :)

and i guess i'm still one of the few that still likes George :whip:
