| My parents are telling me that this club isn't in a great part of town and there are gangs and such. Basically, what are the chances someone is going to try and assualt/rob/etc me, and what do I do to prevent it? |

| Actually there was a shooting or stabbing in VIVA the first week it was opened...lol, their website says no dresscode but no "gangwear"...after all it IS a sketchy area kind of in the middle of nowhere a bit...but I wouldn't worry if I was you been there quite a few times and it's ALL good :D |

Some parents aren't quite as understanding as mine.
Mom- "Where are you going and when will you be home?"
Me- "Afterhours nightclub, then maybe Comfort zone, I'll call you around 8ish (am) to let you know what I'm up to"
Mom- "Ok, but if you come home earlier, don't wake me up"
Me- "Ok..."
Mom- "Have fun"
Like WTF is that normal? |

Normally when I call them all they want to know is if my car is ok and whether or not I'll be home for lunch (or at all that day).
Tell your parents not to worry, it is most definitely not a dangerous area. And like Nat said, TAs will be watching out for you :)
