Hmmm ... here's my situation. A month ago, a dozen or so people I knew wanted to come. Today, it all came down to 0, thats right, zero! people who wanna go with me from Hamilton. And now my ride gave up on me as well - thanks! So unless someone can give me a ride (I WILL give money for transportation) for a two-way trip, I can come. Please PM me by 6 PM today in that case, I will greatly appreaciate it. Otherwise, I am scratching this event off!
Just when I thought things weren't gonna get any worse ... and it's not like it's the first event I am probably gonna have to cancel this summer. I bought tickets for the PVD show and Global Gathering, and now it looks like I'm gonna have to find buyers ... too many personal problems, rejections have hit me over the past 3 weeks ... and the worst thing is I got no ride ...

Question:
how do you get there, if you don't have a car?
(i know they have a shuttle or somethin for big events, but i guess not for tonite?)
i'm talkin public transportation, of course there's always cabs
, but when you're broke that doesn't work!:whip: :whip:
any tips would be appreciated:thepirate

take the subway to Finch
Then, hail a cab, and:
a) if you are going to the meetup, direct him to the COUNTRY STYLE on the WEST side of Woodbine, north of the 407. You will know you are in the right spot if there's a Costco on the other side of the street.
b) if you are going right to the club, it's on the EAST side of Woodbine, just south of Costco. It can be kinda hard to find, but just get him to drop you off in the Costco parking lot, then you can just follow your ear to the club.
If you are going to do A, I will be hailing a cab from FINCH STATION PICKUP AREA (it's a glass room surrounded by a parking lot, follow the signs) around 10ish, we can split a cab. I will be wearing khakis and a blue dress shirt with palm trees on it :) |

I think the fella needs a RIDE from the subway- if anyone can pick him up.
