heh...don't worry man, no offense taken, it's not my club. I'm actually with you on this one. I wanted to see the CHelsea game in PA but I won't be able to make it out there. Other games in Giants Stadium this year include Galatasaray (Turkish champions, I've seen these guys play, they're great) v. FC Porto and LIVERPOOL FC (2nd fav. club, but i'm not gonna be here when they play:( ) v. AS Roma.
Last year my seat was right in the middle of the Man U. Section and everyone there was British or some other non-American nationality. I think that even though lots of Americans do come, Europeans do as well. Additionally the more these big clubs come and play here, they will attract a larger, more hardcore and serious American fanbase. Hopefully in a few years football will be huge in America as well. |

Ive been a fan of Italy since the '94 World Cup. ;)
Roberto & Dino Baggio are my fav. Italian players that Ive had the pleasure to watch. Favorite Italian player ever and that Ive never seen is Rossi.

you know, they're always saying how soccer will be huge here in however many years. they've been saying that for years now and the sport hasn't made any significant gains in popularity. our league sucks and nobody here cares enough to watch any sports outside of this country unless it involves americans winning something.... so sad...
anyway, this game sounds like it'll be damn fun. i haven't been to a soccer game at giants stadium in 8 years i think... it's about damn time to go to one again... :) |

Screw Milan & who ever DR86 likes in Italia. Inter suck I know but they are my favorite! France are a bunch of divas and will not win this year and I think they will repeat their WC preformance, although Italia did not do good in WC they got farther than the French!
Seen both Baggio brothers live, met Roberto Baggio during the Euro when Italia had their traning sesion in Milan, and have seen Rossi on TV. Vieri & Totti are unstopable and no one can get past Cannavaro & Nesta in the back.
Gala is coming, I did not know this, should have a good team since they have expected to sign 3 good players this week. Definitly going to see Roma v. Reds. |

| Buffon is key and if he gets injured which he won't we have arguably one of the top 5 goalkeepers in the world in Toldo. Gattuso will not start especially after he mouthed off today. I was watching RAI and he was saying that Trap does not know how to make the line-ups and such and complaining about his time. I think Zambrotta and Fiore are key, Pirlo and Del Piero also will complete the mid-field in my mind. Perrota & Camorenesi either subbing for Fiore or Pirlo. Gattuso is just surplus. |

Buffon is NOT the world's best keeper. Barthez is, but he plays for Marseille. |
