Fine whatever... people want to know the truth...
But look at it this way... this movie is going to promote more terrorism. By him exploiting all these things, it will give the terrorists and other people from the areas to go and kill and behead more innocent lives. Even the Hammas is endorsing this movie - that is ridiculous. This movie will be the basis for terrorist recruiting. The truth is nice to know, but the repercussions of finding it out in such a way could be very devastating. |

kinda like how cnn and fox news always tells the public what the army is gonna do before it even happens?
"the army is planning an airstrike tomorrow on saddams hideout".. etc. |

Have you seen the movie? Do you know WHY Hamas would endorse it? It's not because they want to create terror attacks against America, but it's because someone FINALLY opened his eyes to the problems America is causing in the Middle East, destroying Arab culture, all for NO STRONG MOTIVES. If someone invaded your home because they thought you had something you really didn't own and killed family members of yours in the process, would you not be pissed? That's what most Arabs in the Middle East feel, and the fact that Moore points this out shows that at least ONE American realizes the problem with our government's policies in that region. |

I agree. It was very good and I plan on either seeing it again and/or buying it when it comes on DVD in September. |

Truth is that no matter what Hamas says about the movie, it will not make me go see this film as a basis for truth.

Zur: Israel has infiltrated Hamas leadership
By JPOST.COM STAFF
Border Police head Cmdr. David Zur, said Saturday that "Israel has people in the leadership of the Hamas." Zur was responding to a question posed to him regarding Israel's success in finding and killing top terrorist leaders, Ynet reported.
Zur was speaking at a cultural event in Beer Sheba.
"We are excelling in everything connected to human intelligence. We're investing in agents. Israel has excelled beyond belief in this field," Zur said.

Sharon 'Alliance With Hamas' Exposed
Inside Israel itself, evidence of opposition to Sharon's actions is showing up in the press. In fact, some are exposing that Sharon has a secret deal with Hamas, reporting that a stormy Cabinet meeting followed Sharon's return from the United States after meeting with President Bush, Secretary of State Colin Powell, and National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice. In the Cabinet session, members of Sharon's inner circle were pounding the table and telling Foreign Minister Shimon Peres that they intend to bring the deadly Hamas group that claimed credit for the suicide terrorist acts, into power to replace Arafat. At that point, led by Peres, Labor Party members of the governing coalition walked out of the meeting, and are now debating whether to bring down the Sharon government.
This Faustian pact with Hamas was detailed in a Dec. 4 Ha'aretz article by senior commentator Akiva Eldar, who revealed that at a Cabinet meeting, Minister Silvan Shalom blasted Peres for advocating "negotiations" with Arafat. Shalom stated, "Between Hamas and Arafat, I prefer Hamas," adding that Arafat is a "terrorist in a diplomat's suit, while Hamas can be hit unmercifully ... there won't be any international protests." The London Times, owned by Rupert Murdoch, one of Sharon's biggest backers, also reported that Sharon's Cabinet wants Hamas to replace Arafat.
Those familiar with the 30-years-long mode of operation of Israel's "Terror Against Terror" hit teams, dismiss the standard "preventive retaliation" explanation as calculated double-talk: The assassinations are pre-calculated to provoke revenge strikes from Hamas or other terrorists, which in turn unleash the IDF generals.

I just saw this today and I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed.
Let me say this- It DID bring to light some interesting points, TRUE things, terribly moronic things that our nation shouldn't overlook...
HOWEVER Michael Moore also completely screwed up this "documentary". I had heard that it was "biased" and I expected that considering the source but the editing was weak. Any IDIOT could see how many things were taken COMPLETELY out of context. I WANTED to be able to go into that theatre , watch it, come out of the theatre saying "what an insightful film" or something to that effect, BUT NO. For my 9 dollars I get a terribly ineffective , shallow, poorly edited piece of mediocrity.
THANKS MICHAEL MOORE
*in no way am i a supporter of Bush, but I'm not going to fawn over Michael Moore:whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: |

throughout this entire thread, one person has provided proof of moore editing his films in a malicious manner. don't sit here and play the blame game if you can't back it up. |
