Reagan Funeral Procession

Anybody watch the funeral procession yesterday to Capitol Hill? It was friggin' awesome with all the military pagentry. Brought politicians and everyone together to remember a great man as well. Made me proud to be an American...

How about we need less extremists on both sides. Reagan was not just a president. I think most of you people forget the other title. Commander and Chief. He may not have put cigars in secretaries vaginas like clinton, but he did end the Cold War. Please have a little respect for a man much admired by many. He was honest, indealistic, and had character and integrity. Even if you dont agree with his policies I think you can agree that he had many good qualities that more people should have. Who is more fun to talk to? A middle of the road "every thing is ok, i guess" person or someone who stands up for what they believe in (regardless if you agree with that belief).
There is a certain validity to the idea of diametrics clashing and synthesizing eternally. Im just glad that America occasionally produces a man with his own ideas who isnt out to suck everyones dick for once.

He did not end the Cold War. The Russian Empire was already in collapse when he took Presidency, all he did was hold office while this all happened.
I don't like the idea of putting him on the $10 bill or the dime either. Roosevelt should make it onto a bill before Reagan. |

Point is to show some respect. He did a lot more than say, YOU did to end the cold war.
I'd like to see a nature film where an eagle swoops down and pulls a fish out of a lake, and then maybe he's flying along, low to the ground, and the fish pulls a worm out of the ground. Now that's a documentary! |

I wish everybody would have to have an electric thing implanted in our heads that gave us a shock whenever we did something to disobey the president. Then somehow I get myself elected president. |
