| has anyone had a problem with getting sweaty hands? i've been experiancing this more and more over the past few years and it becomes a social problem as i cannot shake hands with people. I have no idea why it happens, has this ever happened to anyone? i think im going to go see a doctor on monday, but i just wanted to see what you guys had to say :) |

no, I guess not.
One cause of it is nervousness, or so I hear. So it could be psychological. are you gong through any stressful times as of late?
another would be a biological thing, which the doctor you see can help ya out. But I have not clue why it would be just sweaty hands.
or are you just sweating more in general... |

it really started when i was entering high school i would notice it would happen. but as of late ive been in business situations where i have to greet people, and it becomes very embarissing. thanks for your help though man, also i work in a very well air conditioned place, maybe its anxiety? thanks though |

| Keep some balled up tissues or paper towels in your pockets, and when they start to sweat, grap the tissues. Presto, dry hands! |

welcome to the multifaceted functions of puberty....
It's genetic and normal...people have higher # of sweat glands in certain areas...(i.e. hands, joint areas, etc) and some people sweat more than others in those areas.
Don't waste the money going to the doc to tell you the same thing and laugh at you for asking...and getting paid to do so ... (leave that to us).
It's common among lots of people.
just carry round a hankerchief if you feel the need...it's what i do.
