By the way, Claudine Douville is too funny on rds,she tells people not to look at the screen if they dont want to see the score of the other match goin on at the same time,and last time she did it was during the germany - czech rep. game,the score appeared and she screamed "oh,et les pays bas qui ouvrent la marque sur un penalty" :rolleyes: |

Völler a démissionné
Le sélectionneur de l'équipe d'Allemagne, Rudi Völler, a annoncé jeudi à Almancil sa démission au lendemain de l'élimination des vices-champions du monde dès le 1er tour de l'Euro 2004.
Nous regrettons cette décision mais nous la respectons», a immédiatement commenté le président de la Fédération allemande, Gerhard Mayer-Vorfelder, qui se trouvait à son côté. Völler était sous contrat jusqu'en 2006.
L'information avait déjà été annoncée par le quotidien Bild dans son édition du matin. Selon les envoyés spéciaux du journal, la décision aurait été prise dans la nuit de mercredi à jeudi, soit quelques heures après la défaite contre la République tchèque.
Comme à l'Euro 2000, la sélection allemande a été éliminée au 1er tour de l'Euro, sans avoir remporté une seule rencontre. Après deux nuls contre les Pays-Bas (1-1) et la Lettonie (0-0), elle a été battue mercredi par la République tchèque (1-2). |
