Sorry, but having someone hide behind an alias and fire off allegations is not exactly being upfront now is it?
I could easily start up an alias and make claims of my own.
As for myself, i come on this board as a representitive of myself and myself only. If you have a problem with a particular club, any rumours you may hear etc i suggest you take it up with management in private.
Sadly, all this Boa-Redux person is doing is perpetuating whatever rift and politics it is that he claims exists in the first place. As for the validity of his accusations, again i have no idea nor do i give a .
Just dont come on messageboards representing a club and then proceed to bash other clubs. Thats been my whole point all along.
I wont hold Boa-redux responsible for what this one person is saying. I still plan to visit sometime despite the negative image that this person representing the club is displaying here. I know a lot of good people involved in that club as is the case with many other venues around town. I only hope that the person behind this Boa-Redux alias isnt somebody i already know in real life because it would be sad to have to lose respect for somebody i already know. |

Jay, I think all he's really doing is firing off words supporting allegations that he truly believes to be true. You do it with opinions on a regualr basis, and he's doing it with what he considers facts. I see nothing wrong with that.
Additionally, he would be hiding if his TA name wasn't one that told you exactly where he worked. His name says boa-redux, and I think you know exactly where that club is. If the allegations that are purportedly the doings of the Guvernment ARE true, then Guv is the only classless party either in this discussion or being discussed. |

Speaking about paul martin and Stephen Harper is one thing, but bringing your own personal dirty laundry or to start rumours on a message board is quite another.
I wont comment on this anymore as it is a pointless topic and immature people seem to be missing the point as to why i scolded Boa Redux (the alias) in the first place.
I think ive been quite diplomatic about the whole thing and all this guy is doing at this point is trying to get a rise out of me (and the rest of you guys) |

The Boa-Redux name was chosen for this board ,and others ,as to represent the writers: the owners and managers of Boa. We do not hide behind others and opinions stated herein are those of the owners!!! But then again we said that two pages ago!
Jayx1 is entitled to his opinions just as we are; but nobody is entiteld to tell anybody how to earn a living or promote their career especially when they are not offering any form of viable employment or career advancement to that person!!!
Boa has flourished in the last six months without the services of many local DJs under threat, we have not been hurt by the actions of other clubs. It is the Djs themselves who have paid the price and you the customer!! Food for thought!! |

Well then, its sad that you decided to proceed in this fashion on a messageboard.
I personally believe that if you have a personal beef with somebody, it should be discussed in private. But hey,whatever you do is obviously none of my business.
Oh well!
Im not going to get dragged into this any further. You guys have what it sounds like is a great establishment and it is my personal belief that there is room for yourselves, guvernment and other establishments for us all to enjoy.
As far as whatever else goes on that you claim, again thats none of my business and i dont know how valid the allegations are nor do i care. At the end of the day i want to have a good time and enjoy the great music that establishments such as these are able to provide. |

If they are truth, then it is not personal dirty laundry, and they are certainly not rumours, and it is concern of the whole clubbing community. Also, if they are truth, someone in the world knows it to be fact. It is obviously not you, and it may very well be boa-redux (the alias and the club). |

| I would have to agree with skipper as to the whole entertainment scene anywhere, its cut throat and you gotta make sure that you do what you have to do, to get the crowd back. Bring another club like the size of GUV and etc which has the same influence and all the DJs will flock there cuz the crowd will go there. Its all about the money in the end and where you can make the most. |
