| ???????? im probably getting a 40 gb ipod cause i got so much in music but i dunno how much it can really hold. i mostly have live sets and im wondering how much of it would fit????? :conf: :conf: |

| i heard from a few people that ipods have problems playing long mp3s (ie, livesets). I actually have the same problem with my non-ipod mp3 player. Does anyone know if this is a widespread problem? |

| yea i can see that happening, thats why im not sure wether i should get one. i kno that sony products cant handle long mp3's but im not sure about everything else |

| i'm not an expert on this, but i heard its something about the hard drive not made for spinning that much to access parts in songs that are past 20 minutes or so....its all about the quality of the drives |

my sister has an ipod. It freezes sometimes to the point where you can't even turn off the damn thing you have to wait for the battery to drain. Well we took it to apple ot see what was wrong and they said that it's a common problem and that you have to reset the ipod. Well once you reset it you loose ALL YOUR MUSIC!!! I was like dude what happen if I was travelling this would totally suck!
So I don't know I guess I'm just going to hold off and wait for the next generation. Would be cool to see it have a color screen, and a line-in port to record mixes and stuff. |

| Well it seems that Sony is coming with thier own type of Ipod with 20 gigs .It seems to have mad buttons and yes it does have some type of color LCD screen :eyes: . It is still in Japan right but you should clook out for it. Too bad I forgot the link that ad pictures |

| my ipod has no problems with sets ... its just gay to hold fast forward for a couple minutes |
