has tiesto change lately?

i always had an impression of tiesto being very down to earth and humble...i sam him a couple of times before this year and he always treated fans kindly and everything...the thing is that when i saw him yesterday in boston he game me a completely different impression...maybe he changed since he became # 1...i went up to the booth to request a track and he completely ignored me and turned his back on me...he didnt want to sign autographs or take pictures with any of the fans...those are things that he used to do before...so, has he turn into an or was he having a bad night?
i love tiesto and he played a great set as usual but i simply didnt understand what happened with that |

| everytime I've seen him, he has played then run off like a pansy. Most of the stories I've heard are not great, tho I have heard he has stayed singing autographs, deejays are people too. |

thats true but like all celebrities you have to be ready to deal with the low points of it. if you cant stomach that, then your not fit for the job.
mabye there was more behind it than just that though, mabye it wasnt the best show, or mabye the crowd was pissing him off, or mabye tiesto was having a bad day all around. it can be stressfull staying up all night, every night preforming. |

| it doesnt mean that because he played a great set it wouldnt have been equally great if he took a fan request man... |

| maybe it would have more effective to make a big sign of what track you wanted him to play and stand in the crowd and hold it. I bet he'd probably play it. |

it seems like he droped a lot of his own productions, it sounds as if you are angry just because he did not play it.
IMO the track sucks anyway. |

I'm going to have to agree with that. He's been touring a lot lately, and there's got to be a bit of jetlag still in there with the lack of sleep.
I know, I know, "it's part of the job, he should be up for it anyway." If you were touring for months in different timezones and had fan after fan come up to you in the booth requesting the same couple of songs, what would you do?

Edit: I agree with the sign idea. I'd respond better to that.
Oh, and when you requested it, did he acknowledge you before you asked? He might not've heard you. |

a friend of mine asked him for no one on earth and he ignored him as well...he has been playing both tracks recently so it isnt a crazy request...and if you like the track or not it's not the issue here...
when you request a track to avb he plays it right away...he wouldnt mind pictures or signatures, and he would play the ammount of time he was supposed to play...a lot of people were complaining about this and i have heard it a lot recently...
it should be probably jetlag i agree... |
