You know what Kami needs, he needs to go to a public school like I used to go to. My HS had 4500 students, it was IMPOSSIBLE not to know a few people.
I dont need or want to read up on Aspergia, I find it to be a psychological thing that can be fixed if you grow some balls and get out.
Lets try some logistics:
If I lock myself in my room, than I shall have no friends.
If I open my mouth and introduce myself to someone, than I will know 1 more person.
If I know people, than I will have friends.
BTW, ya'll might be  (cool), but Im :toocool: (toocool). :tongue2 |
Vlad, actually, it's a mental condition that CAN'T be cured. It's not an illness, it's a syndrome. Saying that we need to just grow some balls and go out there... that's the equivilant of saying that someone who suffers from an extreme phobia of water and PTSD caused by it to just go out there and grow some balls, or telling you to walk into a gay bar like you've done it all the time...
And I really hope you havn't :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous: |

Thats really interesting, as I've read some of your posts, Badger, I've thought to myself, 'I wonder if he has Asperger's'. I knew a kid in HS who had it. He had a realll hard time getting along with folks. The way his aide explained was that he couldn't control what he was saying...if it was on his mind, it was on his tongue. Sorry bud. Spin what you like, but don't expect everyone to respect it. Keep in mind, the folks that are on here are crazy about the art. The folks in Gutenberg, IA prolly aren't as immersed in this stuff as they are on here. The only one I would say no to would be sandstorm, that song has been played out like a 2 cent whore.
Cheers! |

Sandstorm kicks ass anyway. And they play DJ Sammy on the radio here in Guttenberg, and have also played Paul Oakenfold - Starry Eyed Surprise...
People out here love cheese. |

Somebody better get some water, cause I smell flames... :nervous:
Anyway, those tracks are still cheese.
Darude - Sandstorm has been played so often that everybody is really getting sick of it now.
And if people in your region love cheese now, they might get sick of it in a year or so. I know I have.
Play whatever you want, whatever makes you happy. If you're happy, I am.
By the way: You might not even be able to get those records once you have your TT's.... |

Then again, you're just a stupid little NT. |
Avoiding any further argument, what is an NT? Acronyms aren't my thing. |

After reading the first post and the tracks, I assumed there was going to be a lot of backlash... personally I wouldn't waste my time telling a kid who really wants to spin that all he wants to spin is junk. I don't know about all you guys but when I started spinning I wanted to spin songs I knew. He obviously hasn't been in the scene very long, give him a chance to get out there and start listening to other songs and picking out better songs he likes.
On the other hand I have always respected most tranceaddicts for their maturity and great feedback. I would NEVER have expected you guys to turn on someone and say their condition isn't real and to "get off your ass and make friends". Dude you guys are seriously ed up. Picking on someone because of their condition is not really my thing. I can almost guarantee half you idiots are prescribed adderall or some kind of stimulant to treat the condition ADD, another condition arguably to be "non-existent" or just another product of laziness. Maybe you guys should look at the big picture before making assumptions about someones condition.
The way I see it is he wants to spin, he's never been really deep in the trance scene before and I can remember after I got my tables and actually got out into record stores and elsewhere, cheese was left behind. The fact is, these records and these mainstream cds hes getting them off of are the only trance he knows right now. Give the kid a chance and maybe if you give some positive support, it might mean something to him... As for writing down all the nasty comments, I need not remind you guys what your mom always says.
Where's nem's maturity when you need him? |

Thanks for posting that, Seven. Yes, these are songs that I know and love. You guys may see them as cheese, but I like them. Hell, IMHO, DJ Tiesto spins cheese, but some of you think he's the best DJ ever. And here's some tracks that I plan on buying. Mark out which ones you think are cheese and why.
Svenson - Sunlight Theory
Dave Rodgers - Ale' Japan
Mario Lopez - Free Your Mind(club mix)
Gigi D'Agostino - I'll Fly with You
2 Unlimited - Tribal Dance 2004 (2 Chains Club Mix)
More to come. |

Okay, well Kamikaze, before you go insulting people in a retort, make sure that what someone says wasn't meant as comment rather than an insult. With that said, if you would like to hear other music and get a great feel for newer trance go here:
Netscape Radio - Download the player, then go listen to the trance station. It IDs all of its tracks with 98% accuracy
Ministry of Sound Radio - During shows they usually post the song names or have a tracklist at the end
Radio 1 - The Essential Mix and Judge Jules showcase some pretty good music from time to time and always have a tracklisting
There are 3 good ways to hear new music that you might like (and might be easier to find on vinyl than the old mainstream stuff). Play what you like, but be open to hearing the new stuff. |

| Check out www.digitallyimported.com 24-7 streaming music and if you run it through winamp it'll tell you what song is being played. I used to just play this all the time and everytime a good song comes on, i'd write it down. It's easy and cheap heh. |

Yea, that's how I found Real McCoy - Run Away(Hallucianation Mix). But not all their songs are good. Their Euro channel is falsely named :whip: |
