The main characteristics of an Aspergian are often (but not always) a deep focus on a specialist subject or area (or consecutive areas), a difficulty in understanding human interactions and human social codes (almost like being an alien trying to understand a strange species) and thus also a difficulty with changing environments which need to be learned and adjusted to. Aspergians tend to have a normal to high intelligence, often coupled with a special skill or ability (e.g. extraordinary mathematical or linguistic abilities). In addition People with "Asperger's Syndrome" are sometimes hypersensitive to various stimuli such as light, noise and pain, and their motor skills may be less developed than the norm (e.g. they tend to play less sports). Many of them are partially face-blind (have a problem remembering faces), and are often clumsy. They have to invest a lot of energy in understanding interactions, and would often need to consciously plan their social behaviour in advance, including when they walk down a busy pedestrian road, and have to avoid running into people. That intuition - the innate ability to translate human body-language and non-verbal cues is simply not there for them. Aspergians often describe their experience as that of "being on the wrong planet". They have to learn how humans interact and simulate it. It isn't a natural trait for them as it is for everyone else.

wtf.. i do relate a little bit to that :nervous:

as for kamikadze's picks.. heh.... old and cheesy.. but anyone's free to have their own taste in music

Even though the retard who posted this is banned, I'd like to add to the flaming. Thank you.

You little twat. You expect us to be ok with you adding to the bad reputation EDM already has by spinning that crap you posted? No ing way. I see you registered in September 2003. That's long enough to get past the cheese stage. I started listening to EDM about a year ago. Back then it was alot of Ian van Dahl and , but I started listening to real trance 6 months ago, and from there my musical tastes have only evolved.

Second. With proper treatment and education, that Asp-whatever syndrome can be "cured", and will allow a normal adult life. That's what the experts say anyway.

So stop being so stuck-up, grow some balls, stop being so negative and get on with your life. In your case you might need electro-shock treatment to get through your condition, but it's possible.

Biatch.

And about the social thing...

Just be yourself, for s sake. You obviously don't have a love for DJing, so don't ing do it.

*sighs softly*

I do not believe this to be true.

However, one can certainly teach one's self over time & space to chill out a little more -- and grow increasingly understanding of the diverse musical tastes on here. This I agree with :)

I've been reading up about Aspergia on the website someone posted.. aspergia.com ... and I think I apparently have it.

I think it's kinda lame using it as an excuse for being a loser though. True, I don't have much of a social life and find it hard to understand certain human emotions, but wouldn't ever complain about the fact or use it as an excuse like this guy seems to have been doing.

Oh well, he'll grow out of it, no doubt. Hopefully along with the music taste :p

First off, DJ Tiesto's remix of Southern Sun is cheese, IMHO.

:haha: :haha: :haha: :haha: :haha:
Thats ing hilarious... LMAO... what are you talking about kid... That remix is absolutely amazing.. If by "cheese" you mean "GOLD!!!" then yea... you are right... :tongue2

But if you are saying that that remix is crap compared to say, oh I don't know, Sandstorm, or Castles in the Sky.. then you are on some pretty crazy drugs...

Try and learn the history of EDM and what 95% of the Trance Loving community truely finds as Good, Classy Trance... then you MIGHT get some respect and some friends...

As for DJing to become popular, so you can get friends... Just don't do that.. Don't become another tool that is gonna tarnish the DJ/Trance community more than it already is... :whip:

PS: Yea I know he won't be able to respond, but I had to get another post up in this thread...

PPS:... I am cool too... :toocool: :toocool:   :tongue2

If anyone ever mentions the Macarena, I think they should be shot. And, if it's in your record collection (please tell me they never put this on vinyl) you should not be allowed to touch another turntable again.

The Macarena, holy .
