$1457.27.
I didn't realized that it cost $1.50/minute to call anywhere from the US (it's a Canadian plan that's supposed to be internationally friendly), and my parents dragged me home for a month so I made a lot of call from there.
I don't really have any way of paying this...so..umm...grrr.
I know it's completely my fault, but it's still a pain in the ass. |

Yeah, I guess. Blehhh. This whole past month's been pretty : I got kind of kicked out of my parent's place and my girlfriend dumped me.

And I'm also an illegal immigrant in this country now, so I can't really do either of those... |

i would double check your contract...read the fine print...and very carefully look over your bill...tell them you want a detailed version. they might be ripping you off for dumb charges and think you won't care because the bill is already so much.
i refuse to have a cell phone and contract w/ verizon, or sprint pcs or any of those bull companies. they act like u save so much money but you always end up going over minutes and u pay dearly for it.
they have this new cell phone company in south florida (don't know if it's anywhere else in the US) called Metro PCS. it's genius. there are no contracts. u just buy the phone and sign up...no credit checks or any of that bull, and u pay a FLAT fee every month and have unlimited LOCAL calling. i mean, it's great for people who don't really have a lot of long distance calling. even when i call my dad in texas sometimes and other family members, i just use a calling card. it's cheaper. i love it that i can talk all i want, and i know my bill is always going to be $45 a month:) hopefully Metro PCS will be branching out to other parts of the country. |

I'm with Roger's, who used to be a Division of AT&T, but it's basically one of the largest Canadian phone companies. The bill I have is detailed...unfortunately, I got charged two ways for the calls because of the fact that it's long distance and for the airtime in the US. Even the calls that were covered under the 500/minutes a month I had were charged something like .90/min for the US airtime.
I'm not sure if there are smaller companies like that here...I'm just going to get a pay as you go phone after this, I think. |

Lephaid you must be a girl because no guy talks that much. If I were you I would declare bankruptcy or flea the country, but you can't stay in my basement, no fugitives allowed. :p good luck. Call me and let me know what happens...wait a sec that's a bad idea...send me a letter ;) |
