exactly, doesnt it bother you that this genre of music is dependant on a drug? i mean i dont care about people using it its not that bad or anything at all, but the cops do, so when the cops try to stop it, the cops are also messing up the industry. Thats why for trance to survive it has to distance itself from it. |

thats the trouble though i dont think the scene could survive if it distanced itself from it and the police to be honest r not all that bothered bout people taking it they have got to look like there doing something bout it though cose its illegal ive been arrested before at a rave along with bout 7 other van loads on the same night and the police said to us that they wanted us in and out as quickly as possible cose they just have to show the general public that there doing something and those that got let out in time were even let back into the rave even though they were just gonna take drugs again |

you dont seem to understand.. drugs in the rave scene isnt new. drugs came about along with the birth if the rave scene.. its not like drugs are tarnishing the scene. without drugs the scene wouldnt be as good as what it is today... hell you might not even be witnessing a scene now if it wasnt for what went off 15+ years ago |

1. Drugs and the rave scene came hand in hand...chillin.
2. The rave scene will not survive without drugs....GHEY
It's one thing to say how the rave scene began, and how it originally flourished into what it currently is...but to say that the scene needs drugs to keep going is stupid. E- been there done that. Sober at shows....yes, ive done that as well.
I KNOW im going to be going to shows when im older and I'm not going to be doing drugs every damn time i want to see a dj spin. Will there be people doing drugs at these shows? YEP! Will all or the majority of the people be doing drugs? Naaaa...i doubt it..
by drugs i mean something hard...

Whoever is all about E and is saying "oh yeah i wont go to a show unless im trippin on E" thats in queer man.

although ive only ever done 1 night without pills, which was my first time seeing scot project over 2years ago, then i saw him the following night at gatecrasher and got blitzed :D i dont need drugs but theyre ace :) |

Exactly, now doesnt it bother you that it will not survive without drugs? Im not saying this because i think drugs are bad, im saying that if a type of music relies on a drug, its totally screwed, it cant last, its like a person who is absolutly dependant on a drug. They are screwed because one day its possible that the cops are going to decide to take them in when the see them with the needle in thier arm. I guess you could say that the cops are gonna bust trance for possesion... hopefully all itll get is a fine... (oh yes i do realize that i just stated these statements for about the 32nd time...)
P.S. Thanks pvdrules, i think its alright though, everyone is just trying to inform me that im wrong, and that what im saying would never happen. I didnt feel any baseball bats, or flamethrowers.
