Dj Sammy!!!

One of the local clubs near me (Temple Club) recently had
DJ Sammy and his group of wangdoodles perform.
i just thought i would share this.
No, i dont believe i could imagine ever seeing myself going to a DJ Sammy gig. I find it pretty sad that the best dj the best club near me could find was dj sammy. i may be being a little naive, but i really dont care. considering, i have never heard him dj. |

A friend of mine saw him play in Ibiza last year and said it was actually pretty good! Played actual proper trance as opposed to the euro-cheesy pop he produces (was heavy on the anthem dropping, but still), and the cheesiest thing he played all night was the Green Court mix of Heaven.
Still if there were any live PA's I'd have avoided them like the plague.. haha |

DJ Sammy is actually a very good dj, his radio 1 essential mix a few years back was great.
But i spose if he's playing at a 'commercial' club he might be playing the cheese he is known for producing. |

| ALL we should know is that no matter how cheese with think his productions are... he's laughing all the way to the bank while many of us still strive to get a record deal or to be then next big DJ. |

Don't forget what we hear on the radio is what he had to produce to please the crowd.. its often purely commercial and sometimes dont really reflect the real style of the DJ... Next thing you know this DJ could be litterally kicking ass live but when he goes out to the public he has to follow what the producers want... His live performances could be a totally different story tough.
Often you will hear a relatively crappy song on the radio but then you go and download a few other sets from the same DJ and actually find some pretty good songs.. |

We saw him in ibiza thought he was gonna be but he surprised us all with some scratching, good tunes and good tricks!:conf: :conf:
