i watched the game in my local and there was lots of chanting, agony, frustrating, cheering, shouting, u name it. ing mint night, apart from we got robbed.

the old refs a wanker chant went down a treat with a pub full of pissed england fans.

Beckham should have been subbed, gerrard and scholes shouldn't have been. Beckham should sort it the fukk out before playing for england again. I feel sorry for Darius, he shouldn't have had to take that kick if beckham had done his job properly!

Beckham was e, he has been e all tournament. I think its the Real Madrid mentality - no grit and determination, at Man U Beckham wud have run for 90 minutes and put 110% in.

I'd have to agree with that. England ruled the world for nigh on 3 centuries and there is still a lingering jealousy/animosity on the Continent. I think most Europeans (except perhaps the Scanadnavians) were rooting for Portugal.

But at least there are a lot of Canadians and Americans who still support England. I was born in Liverpool (by accident, but my dad is english) and I consider myself equally canadian and english. I was at a British pub watching the game and it was full of about 150 england fans, all wearing the white and red jerseys. Not everyone hates us!:D
