Oh my God. I was so excited looking forward that event, I had my tickets (and my best friends') purchased a month and a half in advance. However, after yesterday night I decided that nightclubbing is not my thing. All I am asking is for a little favour ... Here's my story:
I hate complaining, cause I know some of you heard it from me before, so this is probably the last time I'll have to do that. I'll make the long story short, but at the end of the party, when PVD came out so sign autographs, this one blonde pretty lady decided to help me out to get my Global CD/DVD signed. Well, it got signed, actually, the first autograph that Paul did for over two dozen crazed fans, but at the end, I didn't get my CD back - somebody either grabbed it from her hands or she tricked me and kept it. I was really shocked. I guess I just couldn't believe it. And it's not the first time I get f-cked over at a nightclub. It's alright, I'll buy another cd (if I can find it in Hamilton), but that hole incident really struck me, cause it was my favourite CD. No offense to that lady (I got her business card), but I think she ripped me off. I still didn't learn the lesson - never trust a pretty face. There was an insane number of people in the crowd, and a bunch of people were very rude, pushing hard, and obviously, among the male dominated crowd, there were a bunch of gay guys, and muscular guys with tight clothing (probably gay too).
I left the party right away after the incident, and so did left my taste for nightclubbing. I guess it's too draining on me, and I got bigger problems to face, as I have/will be working more than 40 hours between this past wednesday to monday morning. I feel very sick, yet I cannot get rid of my shifts.
I am asking for a big favour: I have one Global Gathering ticket, but now that I'm am not going as I just explained why, obviously I am getting rid of the ticket. I am offering a decent price - 20 bucks plus the pick-up, additionally I'll hook you up with the event ad, and Nu NRG ad for July 2nd at Viva. The money I'll use to buy the Global CD/DVD back.
Thank you in advance - thanks to all TAs who were so kind, and all TAs that I saw at the party - starsearcher, partygurl, rabbitjoker, etc. . Thanks.
I read a lot of people had lots of fun, Mark had a great set too, Guv is better looking than the last time I've been there as well ... Congrats |

No dont worry about it, its my fault. I just want the ticket to go into the right hands, cause it will go to waste otherwise.
I just had a very tough thursday - before the party I have my 14th, thats right! consecutive rejection (without a YES), this time at the hands of this girl I liked so much ... so I hoped the party would melt that, so I guess I got really ticked off that so many bad things happened in such a short period of time, I almost went suicidal ... |

| im really sorry to hear that. ive never had a bad experience at the guv, and last night was no exception. but you can always tell just by looking, that theres a lot of shady people there. i suppose its a lesson learned though, but dont let it stop you from doing what you like to do. |

Big thanks for my best friend for coming to the party with me, it could've been much much worse ... |

| I dont think getting a CD of mine stolen would change my outlook at clubbing/partying AT ALL. Its $20 man, if youre passionate enough for the music and scene....then this shouldnt deter you from it. |

No, its different, its like something killed your appetite.
We all have problems, and maybe as soon as I'll get over my depression, who knows ... |

Sorry to hear about your loss & bad experience.. I actually saw that gray Global CD get autographed by PVD & thought the owner would be 1 happy person. Turns out not so :(
I wouldn't let this completely sour your taste for nightclubs & parties... just as a sharp reminder that can happen at these places given the wrong variables. I think we've all had a share of it (or will) at some point.. just think it over when yer feeling better |

Well, it's nice that there are people out there who care, understand - thanks to you all. I feel kinda bad I had to bring this up, cause pretty much everybody has a problem, and if we all bring them up in the forums, it will be very boring.
Thanks for listening - the ticket to Global Gathering is still up for grabs! Very good deal ... |

| EDIT: sorry, little bit rude of a sentence, let me rephrase it: I am even willing to give the ticket at pretty much no cost, all you need it to pick it up. I am pretty sure its gonna be a great party. |

| You wrote all that because you got ripped off for a 10-dollar CD? Several weeks ago at the Docks, i lost a 5000-dollar car with about 4000 dollars worth of posessions inside. And two weeks later, i was back at the club and had an absolutely incredible night - just one of many more to come. happens, life goes on. |
