Bush is my president, and I will stand behind him no matter what.. Claps Claps Claps Claps. |
im hopeing to god your trying to be sarcastic cuz if not thats just really ....., pls say your being sarcastic. "'# 1 country in the world "' "'bush is my president and ill stand behind him no matter what"'. FIrst of all being the " #1 country in the world" is bull , your not the richest or the most democraticly correct its just you have a few rich people and alot less poor people then alot of nations do ( this and a high population allows you to take a lead position) look at norway has a much higher rate of liveing (even though they do have sex on stage) not only that but bush and his administration is currently useing amunition in the war that will end up killing his own soldiers after the war. Btw calling someone a comunist isint exactly a insult. beinga comunist dosent mean you cant be democratic maby you should read marx's befor you say like that. Also as for "'standing behind him no matter what"' yeah im sure it was s like you that kept hitler in power till the end |

LiquidX was sarcastic, don't worry.
After I watched the movie, Moore had a lot of good points. For some reason, people overlooked one of the most important points that he made. The point is that corporations in this country care only about money and that's it. For them, wasting millions of human lives for profit is like going to ter on regular basis. No regret whatsoever.
What also puzzles me, is why do those corporations keep stacking and stacking bilions after billions of dollars? What for? I mean you can already have billions, have bath tub engraved with diamonds, have a goldenplated car and have all kinds of possesions. What is the point of getting more? Especially killing thousands in a country for those extra couple billions of dollars in the pocket. Maybe, I am missing something here. I can only describe this behaviour as psychological disease. |

lol, now look who is brainwashed. Threre is no brainwashing here. Corporations only think about money not people. Maybe, I haven't done as much research, but I know plenty of people who have and they would back me up.
Go worship to GOP house instead of giving these idiotic advices.
Edit: Buy this book? Do you really think that I will waste my money on that piece of crap? I would rather donate my money to the charity of spotless dalmations. |

| I haven't read the book but I know of the author. He's the same person who wrote the thoroughly researched and cited critical analysis of bowling for columbine. True he has an agenda, however, he presents his arguments fairly and succinctly to an audience of intellectuals who needn't be patronized with crass manipulations to put forth or convey an argument. Unfotunately presenting an argument in such a manner is not nearly as entertaining and there's the rub. |

"Middle of the road" is all relative really.
I consider John Kerry "middle of the road" and similar to Paul Martin or Tony Blair. He is what you would call a centrist in most every sense in terms of world politics.
The US political centerpost has moved so far right that it might make it seem to those on the far-right as if Kerry is some kind of radical leftist.
Remember that two Republican Senators first proposed the idea of food stamps, so that gives you some idea of how hard right the Republicans are now.
http://www.historychannel.com/speec...speech_173.html
Kerry's certainly no leftist like Nader or Kucinich.
Nader and Kucinich are dubbed "socialist," but in reality they still believe in private property rights and private enterprise. They believe in the capitalist model as the chassis for society, but favor welfare type programs and regulation of big business to keep honest people honest and punish the Ken Lays of the world.
This is also largely true of the social democrats in Europe, so I find it strange that they call themselves socialists.
Bush and Ashcroft on the other hand are further right than our Bill of Rights and US laws against torture. Ashcroft has spent his political career attempting to undermine civil liberties even before he was named attorney general.
As Senator he would slip hidden amendments eroding civil liberties into unrelated bills such as appropriations bills. Now we find out that he and his justice department worked to find a legal basis for torture.
He is a staunch opponent of the human rights and dignities of man, and thus should not, in my view, hold a position that makes a mockery of the word "justice." |

why is it that everyone who supports michael moore seems to respond to allegations/proof of his telling of lies/hypocrisy by saying..."well he presents interesting ideas and says what needs to be said"
i personally would never back or follow someone that so unhesitatingly promotes falsehoods under the mask of isolated truths just because he shares similar political ideas, but i guess that's because i'm not a total idiot.
congratulations moore supporters, you're doing well in taking your idiocy to new heights everyday. |
