Nostradamus, Anti-Racism, WW3 : READ THIS

before i speak my mind.let me give you some background about myself so you all can see where i'm coming from. I'm 20 years old, Male, Canadian born and of Polish descent. I'm writing this from mohawk college in hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Of course everything i say is only my opinion, but i'm sure tehre are others who share it as well.
#1 Nostradamus
i found this on a webpage, a page which got it's info from a credible one. i had one version of it sent to me in e-mail and decided to check it out, it was an edited version of the real translation, read this to clear up all the misinterpretations about the prophecies>
Some of you may have seen the following being circulated by those who think Nostradamus foresaw the horror in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001. The French text and translations are from Nostradamiama.
In the year of the new century and nine months,
From the sky will come a great King of Terror...
The sky will burn at forty-five degrees.
Fire approaches the great new city..."
In the city of York there will be a great collapse,
2 twin brothers torn apart by chaos
while the fortress falls the great leader will succumb
third big war will begin when the big city is burning.
The first two lines seem to be an alteration of Centuries X quatrain 72:
L'an mil neuf cens nonante neuf sept mois
Du ciel viendra vn grand Roy d'effrayeur
or, in English
The year 1999 seven months
From the sky will come the great King of Terror.
There is no reference in Nostradamus to "the new century and nine months" that I can find.
The next two lines are from Centuries VI, quatrain 97
Cinq & quarante degrez ciel bruslera,
Feu approcher de la grand cité neuue,
At forty-five degrees the sky will burn,
Fire to approach the great new city:
Some have speculated that this refers to the latitude of New York, but the latitude in Central Park is 40° 47' N. The remainder of VI.97 is
Instant grand flamme esparse sautera,
Quand on voudra des Normans faire preuue,
In an instant a great scattered flame will leap up,
When one will want to demand proof of the Normans.
Of course, there are several people named Norman living in New York City and Washington.
#2 Anti-Racism
i attend a school that has students of many different ethnic & religious backgrounds,
watching the tv monitors at mohawk, and listening to CNN, ABC, CBS decide where to place the blame was scary. Many different people were watching the monitors early tuesday morning and as the Palestinians were first mentioned. I heard many Palestinian-Canadians voice their opinion about their country being blamed, now it's gone to people of Islamic faith and Arab descent. I have friends who fall into that category and already they are starting to feel the reactions of non-islamic & non-arab students.
Watching canadian news yesterday i saw reports of arabs driving along the street and non-arabs shouting obscenities at them, people robbing & vandalising Arab stores, and fights breaking out between arabs and nons.
We cannot blame a religion, or a whole in nation, for something that was done by a terrorist organization. I have to ask everyone who reads this to please be human and realize that someone else who doesn't look exactly like you is human as well, because they may have the same religion as the terrorists, does not make them terrorists as well. Holy , we learn about this in in grade school for god sakes, we've always been taught that people are all individuals despite a common religious belief or ethnic origin. i apologize for the language, but the racial aspect of this situation has struck a chord with me.
I just want everyone to realize that by causing with people of Arab descent living in your country is not smart, and shows you are taking a very Hitler-esque mentality towards this matter.
those buildings house so many people that it wasn't just white skinned, baseball-glove in hand, John & Mary Smiths who died.
that was a sarcastic stereotypical comment for those who dont realize
i'm positive there were many arabs who died as well in those buildings
America & Canada are countries made up of immigrants, we all know that but sometimes we forget.
i just ask everyone who comes across this to think twice before they condemn all Arabs & Muslims
#3 - World War 3
the possibility of a 3rd war is here. listening to reports from congressman show it's there.
comments such as,
"many innocent people could be killed, BUT many inocent people will be killed"
"this is an attack not just on the US, but on the NATO alliance"
"the US response will be of an incredible magnitude"
"we will make no distinctions between those responsible, and those who harbour them"
I'm scared about the consequences of this terrorist attack. reading other peoples posts in other threads such as, "war is different now then 50 years ago, it's biological & chemical warfare."
there's no more trenches & guys throwing grenades at other trenches.
today's reality of a possible war is far more dangerous and far more harmful to innocent people.
The States has to carefully decide what they will do about this, but i have a string feeling Bush will go with the "eye for an eye" plan
whatever your faith is, pray to your God, because there is only one God in the end if you think about it. Look at the person beside you, same biological composition, we all came from the same place when you put common sense in front of religion |

Important will be the reaction of Pakistan if the USA decide to bomb Afghanistan, which is in some way senseless. And of course another critical factor is Iraq. At least it seems that russia and ebven china is on the same line as the us. lets hope for the best!
But one is for sure: It will be very hard to find and kill those who are behind this "act of war" |

As all evidence seemingly suggests, bin Laden and his group are behind the terrorist attacks that took place on Tuesday. If this is the case, who is going to give bin Laden protection? The Afghans? They are in no condition to hold a war and have already appealed for the US not to attack them. They would first give bin Laden up to Americans instead of defending their country in his name. No other Middle Eastern country supports bin Laden's cause, his own country exiled him. He has no significant allies, apart from some other small groups of Muslim extremists. Who will be the opponent of the all-mighty NATO alliance? A few hundred enraged muslims? However, if evidence suggested another, stronger and more-prepared country was behind the attacks, such as China or North Korea, then there would be more of a possibility for a "World" war. Let's wait and see what happens, tough to be speculative now. One thing's for sure though, the people behind this are krazy, religiously-fanatic, cult-like, s and Allah should whup the outta them if he does receive them for not following even his own teachings. Hypocritical ******s.
By the way, Pakistan has already allowed the US to pass through its country and use its airspace if that means that terrorism will be destroyed in the Middle East.
A couple of other things. Nostradamus, I personally do not believe prophecies or much else without proof. And how can people actually trust supposed excerpts of his writings that are going around through emails? I could've written those and put Nosty's name on it. I agree 110% with Muff2K regarding racism, but you have to understand that there are alot of ignorant people in this world that do stereotype, that do jump to conclusions, and that are prejudice, and this is their chance to show all that... all bull but that's life.

I think Nostradamus is pretty much amazing
each time i read something about him im getting amazed how this man told 500 years ago what will happend in the dayes after.
and all of his tells were correct, he actually seen whats about to happen. dont you find this odd??
About the 3rd world war: your right about many ppl will be killed for nothing but there is no other way, we must do something vs teror befor more such Terror Acts will happen. |

i fear the worst in this situation
if they even mention nukes im gonna freak along with the rest of the world
i believe in god strongly but even thought i dont live my life the way he tells me to,but im still praying for this to end not in a nuclear war.Who is this nostradamas guy everone keeps talking about
gimma a link so i can read some of this stuff.My fellow trance addicts its times like this that i wish the world would learn the power and peace of music and see that this is not gonna solve anything
dont get me wrong we must take action against whoever did this and yes it hurts me to know that more innocent people may die in this,but if america does nothing then we are for sure doomed,they will know then that they can walk all over us
my prayers go out to the world and hope for the best but if the worst is to come i pray that god forgive me and let me into his kingdom

Dont believe everything of Nostra he was a prophet and sure he predicted the first two world wars but he predicted loads of things and syre a few come true but thats just the luck. I mean...
Well there have been loads of prophecies and only the bad ones are known and remembered ...there was a prophet that once said that...after a terrible time of wars, like the world we live in now, There will be a thousands years of peace for mankind... Why cant anyone see this prophecy instead of trying to find the worst and most terrifying one....
I always think for somthing to get better it has to get worse first..like when ur sick...and ur like damn i wish i would get better u always get worse be4 u get betta... I dunno that at least happens to me..
Of course the past events in America is shocking and horrific and unacceptable . even though i live across the atlantic It feels o so close cause its in the same world as i live in the western democratic world. But We have to take this act of war and use it against terrorism. Fight against terrorism, free the world of this evil. Do not use it against mankind. Get rid of terrorism and maybe we will see a thousand years of peace and world co-operation....and then we can take our mankind to the next level in the usage of all recourses in expanding our knowledge to the exploration of space and expanding our world to greater things instead of using all our energy, money, recources on destroying each other. Just think of the fuel usage in this mess and if war brakes out... We will run out sooner and have to find other forms of it and what for!!!????? So we can destroy ourselves.
We have to all take a step back and think what we are doing. Where we are going. Who we are. Who we have. What we are here for.
just think we are a species on this earth. Just like monkeys , Lions, Dogs, Fish. Do u see them destroy eachother if there were left in the wild? NO u dont. I doubt that we were created to kill ourselves. Like we got a selfdestruct button on us.
Hope u can understand what i wrote i can be unclear at times..
