I remember it...

I was told about mp3's on the internet in 1999. I searched. And found...

BT, DJ TIESTO, DJ MICRO.

BT - Dreaming was the first real song I ever felt.

Then I found Sparkles...by Tijs himself and that just fueled my lifelong desire to find good "techno".

And the classic... DJ Micro - Supernova

I have the original cd's I burnt them on too. Those were the main three that brought me into the scene. I now have well over 90 cd's of burnt trance and 30 albums. And countless memories at parties and in my car with trance.

What is your first song?

Supernova is an anthem classic, but it's by Transa. Micro put it on his compilation Tech-Mix 2000, and it subsequently suffered the fate of everything on Tranceport.

Jam & Spoon - Trypomatic Fairytales (Album)

Wow, here's an original thread.

Subsky - Four Days
Tiësto - Suburban Train

Had been listening to trance now and then before those but those tracks were the "point of no return".

I can't remember the first, but PPK- ResuRection at the end of 2001 made me into a full-time trance fan.
