Well I just got a job and joined the corporate world so I thought this would help TAs network with eachother.

| I work for Con Edison in the administrative field. Basically, I dispatch daily work locations to field crews and coordinate what jobs are to be layed out based on when the job is scheduled to be done. |

I basically write software to make sure that the speakers are behaving properly =) |

NYC Board of Ed. i work as a teacher's aide in special ed classes. as of now, i have to make sure three 6 year old's don't crap there pants. and if they do, i have to clean it. and even if they go on the toilet, i sometimes have to wipe. :wtf:
BUT... i'm off for the entire summer. and i get paid for it. MWAHAHAHAHAHA! |

I , uh , work at Wilson's Leather in a mall. Basically I avoid old people (they never buy anything after they waste 30 mins of your time), and put up with really bitchy people all day. Then I do all the dirty work like cleaning the floor and taking out the trash.
Needless to say I'm looking for another job if it paid more...:eyespop: |

| I have no job here. I have gone and looked around in the area and have not been hired after a lot of interviews:( . When I go back to Switzerland in end of July I have to work on the wine vineyard which sucks even more. |

I work on Fridays for the New York Pops Orchestra in Carnegie Hall as the administrative assistant. My main responsibilities are acknowledging donations and organizing 21 years of archives.
My other job (where I am the other 4 days of the week) is for Inventory Solutions, Inc., a company that buys and sells refurbished medical equipment. I do admin stuff there too, and I track inventory.
Neither job requires me to be on the phone more than once a day. :D
Oh, and sometimes I bartend private parties on the upper east side through the Columbia Bartending Agency.
