Ferry is one of the funniest and down to earth DJs ive met (3 times and each was a great experience, of course he was drunk as though :haha: lol)

I really, really admire artists who are very talented but nice people too. Somehow, it seems oddly incompatible and rare (i.e. the musical genius who is coldly unapproachable and full of unkind words, yet composes some of the most beautiful soundtracks to life). I understand everyone has bad days, so it's important to look at a long-term picture of someone's behavior. I don't support ungrateful musicians. |
You over analyzed what I wrote. I meant that Ferry takes it a step further and spends enough time around people where they are actually people to him...not just his fans at some gig. He keeps in touch with people that he meets and takes a personal interest in them. His fans become people with names and personalities. When someone is just a fan...you really have no clue who they are. You see them out there showing their support, but you have never made a personal connection with them. I never said being a fan is bad. So please chill out with the analyzation. I am one of Ferry Corsten's biggest fans and proud to say so. I just meant that he is the kind of person that wants to know who you are away from all of that. He takes it to another level. |

Even though I've heard many bad things about him, I've met hi twice and both times hes been pretty good, one was I somehow made my way into the back of the club and bumped into him there, he seemed pretty drunk but didn't give a , it was just a quick hello and I was right out of there cos the bouncers would probably of found me.
The second time wasn't long ago and we talked abit about football, he seemed good to everyone else, taking pics and talking waiting for a new monitor to arrive plus the sound engineer, his agent (I think it was his agent) was a complete bitch though, acting like in god.
J00F is great always a nice guy.
Rank1 there also sound guys.
bollocks I met a bunch of others, but can't remember really, oh yea, I've seen Lisa Lashes being good to everyone she seems like a down to earth chick that just wants to have fun. |

| The guys of Infected Mushroom are extremely cool guys, VERY down to earth. The 2 times I went to see their live show they let me come up on stage, talk to me and take a few pictures. Not to mention they sign autographs to everyone who wants them... |

also, i think its like referring to the famous people that act like they're better than everyone else. ferry doesnt act like hes any different from you n me, hes just there havin fun, too. it just so happens that he's behind the decks and can produce like no other. |

Needs to be mentioned:1.i saw a show about oakenfold once,it was around 30 minutes from 2000,i dont think he can be such a primadona cook,he talks like a 13 year old shy girl and his house looks like a dump,from what it seems he's not flying 1st class but he did said some things that can point out that he's a little sick an tired from the buisness and very wore out.
and besides what do you expact the guy is like 44 years old he's making more money then anyone by doing less then anyone after doing more then anyone.
2)Judge Jules is still a lawyer...j/k!! but now seriously he's also a bit wore out(these old guys..) and he's totaly diffrent when he's upset,i remmember once at Gatecrasher some guy stood by him and yelled that his wife is a whore or something so he kicked his ass! :)
3.Even though Ferry is nice and mushy there are rumors that he fought with VDM and kicked him out from his studio.
4.Who care if theyre pricks,its like asking from a beautiful girl to be nice, MUSIC OR STFU ! |
