You over analyzed what I wrote. I meant that Ferry takes it a step further and spends enough time around people where they are actually people to him...not just his fans at some gig. He keeps in touch with people that he meets and takes a personal interest in them. His fans become people with names and personalities. When someone is just a fan...you really have no clue who they are. You see them out there showing their support, but you have never made a personal connection with them. I never said being a fan is bad. So please chill out with the analyzation. I am one of Ferry Corsten's biggest fans and proud to say so. I just meant that he is the kind of person that wants to know who you are away from all of that. He takes it to another level.

Hello trancebrat!! :)

First off, my apologies if I seemed like if I was overanalyzing what you wrote. I am autistic, and it is important I really get someone's perspective on what they are saying because I wish to learn. I have a hard time interpreting statements like yours sometimes, and it is awkward to ask at times like this. That being said, thanks for your clarifcation.

I wish to clarify by no means was I getting mad at you, and I should have put a smiley to contrast with the frownie. "Chill out" is one of my favorite terms.

I received your PM and I could have responded to you there, but I think it is important to address you online. I did get a bit defensive so I accept your apology and I hope that you will accept mine. I didn't mean to be so harsh with you. I hope that you have a wonderful weekend. ;)

im surprised to hear Dave Ralph is a dick. i met him here in Milwaukee last year and he seemed very cool. maybe because i'm female, or maybe he was having a good night (hard to believe in Milwaukee when there are only 8 people dancing at the club), but he seemed pretty friendly to me.

Yes thank you for your grace, trancebrat.

I assure you that I am a person who approaches things with wide-eyed open curiosity (not unlike a rabbit, LOL) and when I ask questions, it is out of that curiosity -- and a genuine interest in learning from someone else's experiences. I know it is confusing sometimes online, but just wanted to let ya know. :D

You have a wonderful weekend, moreso! :)

thats a pretty standard procedure! Many djs ask to see the flyer beforehand!

mostly everyone does but in this case they were just too picky about it and the equipment.. (asked specifics about monitor height and angle!). can't blame him for wanting his parties to be all of a high standard though.

people I forgot to mention..
Eddie Halliwel is a really nice guy, good humor. I was on a dinner with him before a party.

and Nu Nrg seemed ok too although I had to talk through an interpreter.. (italian..)

I think that most Djs, just like most people, have their good times and their bad. It does not mean that they are always like that at everyshow, so that prob explains the differeing opinions. But I def gotta say Josh Gabriel, Dave Dresden, Armin, Ferry, Tiesto, Pete Moutso, and Dan Sampson were really nice when I met them. Can't say the same for Acosta or BT, they were not being that friendly, guess they were just having a bad day.
