Maria Sharapova (pg. 4)

The Williams sisters are Michael Jordans of tennis, sure Sharapova won (btw, wow!), but when those two black mofos play 100%, they just dominate. Look at that definition, look at those huge quads, they have advantage in any situation in stamina, strength, and endurance. Just watch them come back next year.
Btw, anybody watched Serena Williams vs. Mauresmo? That Mauresmo woman scared the hell out of me. My first thought was what's a tranny doing competing against women, doesn't she have unfair advantage? Huge upper body (women's standards), a man's face... I was scared to flip on the TV for the next day...

I didn't know there were places where it was unpopular. Tennis is one of the world's most popular sports.

When Serena Williams was at the press conference, I think she said that she wasn't into it or something. She probably lost on purpose to give Sharapova her first trophy. No way did Sharapova beat Serena at the top of her game.

Look I don't want to turn this into a Williams hate thread but, your muscle comment reminds me of another thing that they represent that I don't like. That is the emphasis of brute force over the other qualities that make up the game. Look what has happened in baseball, it’s all about guys on steroids hitting home runs. Tennis is a game of finesse and I hate to see it go the way of so many other sports. We don't need bodybuilders competing to hit the ball the hardest. I even dislike players like Rodick who over come their sloppy inconsistent play by hitting winners and aces. Btw obsessed little league parents involved in their sons or daughters profession career is down right creepy.

I congratulate this fresh new face for winning.

The Williams sisters are proven champions and I believe one of them is even a fashion designer. They are not to my style but their success story is certainly unique and phenomenal, parallel to Tiger Woods -- and not only in ethnicity but in their personalities and their fierce determination to succeed.

I do not wish bitterness and blood to spill over the game of tennis, for while it is a most engaging sport, it is a luxury an advanced civilization can enjoy... kinda like music in that regard. :)

I look forward to seeing Sharapova's career future.

Over the long-term is very different from a single win. And in hindsight when the applause fades away, it can all look so petty.
