| enough u.s. univ rivalries, there are a million of them. I know here on the westcoast of the u.s. there are three rivalries, all between the biggest cities and their state capitals. ex: Portlanders hate people from the capital (salem) because they are a bunch of hicks. |

Montreal has been trying to claim they are better than Toronto for the part of a century, we all know that Toronto has the most people, Toronto is the economic engine of Canada and as much as this pains me to say this (being a habs fan) the leafs are better than my habs.

NCAA football in state rivalry =
Virginia Tech vs University of Virginia
outside state our rivals were whoever was in the Big East:
Pittsburgh
West Viginia
Miami
but now we are in the ACC (along with Miami, and Boston College) so i don't know who our next big rival will be.
VT vs Miami is going to be a big game and so is
VT vs Maryland....
Anyways out of NCAA, from where around where I live the Rivals look like this
NFL:
Washington Redskins vs Philadelphia Eagles
Redskins vs Cowboys
Baseball:
Boston Red Sox vs New York Yankees
Baltimore Orioles vs New York Yankees.
Soccer:
