In my humble opinion, this night was absolutely out of this world! I wasn't sure what to expect of Glow at Dream...I never imagined I would have such an amazing time! It was my first time at Dream...nothing prepared me for the awesomeness that I would experience!
I was quite impressed with The Loft! The space was unlike anything I'd seen in DC! Forget Nation and Insomnia! It was almost as if I were back in Miami! The layout of the DJ booth vaguely reminded me of Space. Once the TAs showed up and the crowd filled up the place, the vibe was perfect! And one more thing...the bartenders rocked!
As always, Pete Moutso started the night with a great set! As for Armin...I thought his set at Glow last November was the best I'd heard of him. Wrong! This set was far superior than anything I'd heard from Armin at Glow! IMO...the first two hours of the set were the best! Absolutely intense!

I wish I'd stayed till the very end. I was tired after Friday night, and I had plans for Sunday. If only I could've stayed a little longer to hear Solarstone - Seven Cities...what a shame I missed out! Such is life!
Shoutouts to...Pete Moutso (thanks for making this incredible night possible...and for the shot of Grand Marnier!), Sammy and Dan (great seeing you guys and Jerry again!), Brian (great partying with you...and with Donny and Mark! another great night of good music and partying!), Erin (great seeing you and Liz after such a long time!), bigjimslade, Busy Child, Jose, Josy, djdl, and last but not least...redeye and daffodil (haven't seen you since WMC...great seeing you in DC again!). Sorry if I forgot anyone!
All in all...one of the best nights this summer so far! It was definitely a great taste of what's to come at Glow once it reopens!

ahh i dunno maybe im confused but I can't remember him playin portishead roads..but I do remember pete moutso dropping sultan and the greek-wadi (valentino mix) right before armin got on and I think that was the best song of the night and it kinda sounds like portishead-roads...
or maybe I'm confused |

das_Mario, I completely agree with you about the bartenders. In fact the entire staff at Dream was friendly, including the people who patted me down and the bouncers on the floor.
Finally there is a club out there that actually respects its patrons. Cheers to Dream! |

| Yeah Dream really surpised me aswell damn those staff memeber there are the nicest I ever seen. Did anyone catch the bouncers dancing I sure did ,that was class ;) hotttt hotttt. Yeah I got there when Pete Moutso was on his last 2 tracks ,so I am guessing he dropped Polishheads - Roads because I am sure if Armin would have dropped I would have got wings off my Red Bull. ;) :tongue3 |
