DAMN WHAT CAN I FOCKIN SAY HAVEN'T HAD THIS MUCH OF GREAT TIME SINCE THE GLOW DAYS OF LAST YEAR. I was expecting it to be all that since it is Loft @ DREAM. But was I Wrong, heh got there close to 1am and damn was the floor moving, hahahahahaha that wood and carpet where so great on my legs the whole night.:gsmile: :gsmile: . AHHHHHH!!!! i am still recovering from last nights pure insanity. to those who didn't go to this- YOU ING MISSED OUT. BETTER than summerstage, better than a lot of the i have seen lately!! armin is THE DJ..his track selection and mixing just makes him the best dj to see. he truly does that no other dj does...the way he interacts with the crowd?? holy . and even last night when the dj booth was up high, he still managed to get personal with his fans and all. this was the 8th time i have seen armin, and definitely one of the top 3.
somehow for every armin event, liz and i always manage to weasle our way right next to armin. :p we kept standing below him to try to get him to let us up to the dj booth, but he really didnt see us. finally he saw us and said yes, and we were like "TELL PETE!!" so he looks at pete and tells him and pete just waves to us. lol so we tried to sneak up to VIP, i was like "oh pete moutso said we could come up here" to the bouncer and he was like "well then pete needs to tell me." so we were all frustrated because its not the same not being near armin at one of his gigs, but then we lucked out. we saw pete down on teh dance floor and started talking to him and asked if we could come up. he was like "of course!!!!" so we walk over to the same bouncer and petes like "they're with me." HAHA the bouncer looked really pissed because my little lie actually turned out to be true. :p once we were up there, it was so awesome "hanging out" with armin again. i requested SKY FALLS DOWN (i do it every time) and every time he always plays it for me. :) its like our little bonding thing...haha
very cute at the end when he gave me and liz a HUGE hug, i literally saw him push a dude out of the way to get to us. i think he just sincerely appreciates that liz and i are at EVERY dc show of his, and he is very grateful of our loyalty to him. it had been 8 months since i had seen him last, but he never ceases to amaze me. he truly is just an awesome dj, and an awesome guy.
SOOOOO fun to see everyone there!!! i had a BLAST hanging out with liz and dave....dave you are my new token asian best friend and i love ya!!! haha :p it was so awesome dancing with both of you two and making fun of vinyl shirt men. :D
brian: soo glad you came sexy!! sorry if i flirted with you a little bit when i was kinda drunk...lol...you were like "settle down" hahahah *hopes aaron doesnt read* hehe jk, brian you are my sexy boy and i love ya to death....you are so hardcore and are a TRUE tranceaddict!!! can't wait to hang out with you again :p (fleming?????)

and hell yeah i was feeling that place!!!! i would totally go back to the loft....soooo different from the rest of pretentious dream, but i was def into it. i loved how it was open and you could see the city and feel the breeze (even tho it was hot as butt last night)

| Don't meant to start any rumors, but did anyone happen to catch Tiesto in the men's room? I tried to give him a "WAZAAA" but by the time I got to him, he started laughing hysterically and fell through a trap door. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of Tijs please let me know. |

absolutely awesome night! armin NEVER disapoints. track selection, vibe and energy, smile on his face every second. he's def my #1 dj live. im still tired, my legs still hurt, my ears are still ringing, and i cant wait for september.
BIG thanx to erin and liz for picking me up, and letting me get away from my mini-crisis; luv yall mang! shout outs to, brian, sammy, mario, bzy, limin, ken, addicted, the 50 year old guy who didnt stop dancing, and the bartender that gave me 4 cups of water at the end of the night. |
