A friend of mine just finished... yes... finished... collecting every episode of "A State of Trance" ever broadcasted up to this past week. He downloaded episodes 23, 47, and 6 today, completing the collection.

He also has every "Essential Mix" ever broadcasted.

And all of the "Trance Energy", "Sensation", "Mayday", "Innercity", etc. You name it. I bet you the sick bastard has it. Give or take 175GB of live sets.

I'm going to buy a 200GB hard drive next weekend. :)

EDIT: Yes, I am working on getting a complete list from him to post.

Yeah. He calls me in hysterics and he's raving about how, "It's done! It's done! I have them all! Every episode of ASOT and every episode of the Essential Mix is mine!"

My first reaction was, "Damn, that's a lot of ASOT."

My second reaction was, "WAIT WTF ALL THE ESSENTIAL MIXES? OMG I NEED BIGGER HARD DRIVE NOW!!~"

Honestly, though... He has more sets on that drive than I could listen to in two years.

i just burn everything on CD and archive it.

and yet the CDRS take up space and you only have 24 hrs in a day (8 of which you spend sleeping, more likely 8 hrs at school or work), what does that leave to listen to stuff?

I used to love sets, I have lots of EM's (I only have a 10gb HD and that's deliberate, to keep me from putting crap). So what you have every EM since 1993, your HD crashes (=BYE BYE sets) and the backup of those would take a while and space. I wish I had more time to listen to sets but reviewing CDs, Vinyl for ivibes.nu, I rarely get time to listen to my own these days, which is damn sad. I have 163 CDs + 40 promos = 203, I'm not buying anymore of late because I bought GU006 weeks ago and not had the chance to play the CD2 completely. As I will always argue, you only have 24 hrs in a day and most are occupied doing something, so you don't have that much time to listen to sets.

I have every ASOT ever broadcasted, amongst many other things. I don't go round saying what a big penis i've got though, cos noone really cares.
