Okay, some of you may have heard about the website www.freeipods.com, where you have to accept one offer and then get five other to do the same thing to get an iPod!
This is NOT a scam, the guys at flyertalk can confirm that. They earn back their money through the affiliates revenue and selling your info to other companies (so use an alt email adress if you're unprotected from spam).
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/show...73&page=1&pp=15
I'm offering to start a TA congo-line, it'll work like this. When you go to sign up, use the first refferal link in this post. PM me or post in the thread who's refferal you used plus your own refferal link. I will update the post and add your link next on the list. I'll remove each link once they notify that they have 5 registered people - please post here when you have 5 registered people (not necessarily 5 completed, because it could take a couple of days to complete each persons)
Now, when you sign up it asks you to do a survery with Ads and such, just say no to each. It then says that you have to sign up for one of the six available offers, DO NOT do any of them except for the ancestry.com, because things like Columbia House make you buy 4 or 5 dvds before you can cancel. I have used ancestry.com, and I have already canceled it and gotten my referral credits, and will not be charged anything.
Hope everyone gets an iPod!
PLEASE FOLLOW THE APPROPRIATE ORDER, USING THE FIRST LINK BELOW TO SIGN UP - THANKS!!!!

nope, it actually works. My friend got one. They pay for the ipods with ad revunue. If it was a complete scam, do you think they'd be affiliated with big companies like AOL and Columbia House? |

According to another forum, you can do the Stamps.com 4 week trial offer with no billing and cancel during that period of time and achieve the same result as the ancestry.com one. But that's what I've researched thus far.
If in fact you plan to follow through with an offer.....
the GM credit card offer is not bad. I have several friends with this card and they use it for their new rigs get their 5% back +/- an extra grand. Of course, my friend/aquaintance base is older and likes to buy new trucks...and aren't necessarily looking for a free ipods ... :D |
