Probably wasn't a good idea to say that if he came in here again I'd stab him in the neck but..

i am in shock and awe of what happened, as if a landlord should EVER do that..? its a blatent invasion of privacy, which is why notice should be given at all times, and why i think he deserved the gobfull you gave him.
theres still the spare bed at mine if you get stuck :) |

if a tennent hasnt paid their rent i dont think they really have aleg to stand on. |

actually its highly illegal to enter a property as a landlord without giving 24 hours notice, of which he obviously hasnt.
what sort of idiot sends written notice he's coming around by posting the letter the day before.
get him sorted out, the wanker. |

my ex landlord did that a couple of times too. tho he was a serious nobhead. in the end my dad cancelled the last months rent and said if he wants it he can go himself haha |

As well he should. Being the son of a landlord myself, I can tell you that it should be written in the contract that he cant enter without 24 hours notice. If he does, he's broken the contract, technically meaning you don't owe him anything from then on.
Heh, my first tennancy agreement stated that rent would be due "from the 1st July to the 31st June the following year". They didn't seem to realise that there is no 31st June, making the whole contract void, lol.

Thats taking the piss, my ex boss she used to have this really weird landlord who would invite himself round without notice, she used to come back from work and find him sitting in the kitchen like that.
But on a good note Spad there hasn't been any trouble in a way. Last saturday my mate and his flatmate had 4 masked blokes storm into their house and he had a gun put to his head. my friend has taken a beating of these thugs, this was for being two weeks late with their dodgy landlord but there is more of a private reason so it weren't the rent, needless to say my mate has now left the flat. There is some right ing savages around these days. |
