well,
i'll be throwing a 2 hr set for my birthday next week and i want to impress the crowd with the tune selection.
Where i'll be playing, the crownd wont be very much interested on how profesional the mixes sound so the tune selection is what will impress them..
so, what Trance and Progressive Trance tunes (and if possible in what order) do you recommend....???
Classics will be the best.. any ideas?? :conf: :conf: :conf:
thanks in advance..  |

Are you running off of CDJs? Otherwise, good luck finding the records... :D
It's really hard to recommend the order of the tracks (it'd be my opinion on what would sound good, not yours), but if you want classics...
Sasha -- Xpander
Way Out West -- Mindcircus (G & D Remix)
The Quest -- C Sharp
Yahal & Eyal Barken (sp?) -- Voyager
System F -- Out Of The Blue
And of course:
Binary Finary. :p |

I don't mean to jack your thread... but do you think its worth it to spend 35 bux on the Binary Finary - 1998/1999 double LP pack? LOL |

lol, that made me laugh.
But yeah, its the only positiva re-releases of the set I bought, nice having such a good choice of remixes.
And to get back to the topic, take a ton of records/cds with you, a little of everything (even tho you don't like it others still may) and you should be good to go. Most of all Have Fun!!! |

| well hopefully the people like trance. But eather way dont plan your set out befor hand , its better to just bring what you have and play what you think the crowd will like, thats what proper djing is mate |

i'll be using cds.. so getting the records is no problem.
i was thinking of throwing a lot of chessesy tunes, since that is what the crowd here enjoys the most.. |

Man, where the hell does it cost $35? I got it from only-djs.com and I know I didn't spend more than $20 on the double pack. It might have even been more like $15 or something.
*edit* I guess Andskispeed had me beat by a lot. Oh well. The idea is the same. |
