dude it takes 9 - 10 days for the check to clear.
usualy the buyer wait till the check clears, then ship the item..
and yes media mail takes about a week to 2 weeks. just wait :) and keep PMing the dude, flood his inbox if possible lol |

Just for clarity the check has already cleared my account and Stacey-L pmed me back on June 30th saying that the records were shipped out that day.
torontotrance, are you saying that you know this seller and that he (I think this is Stacey's husband) is reliable? What do you mean by 'spective' and 'ol spective'. |

spective is the name of that person/seller on TA (well thats the name I knew it by before). I'm unaware if he has changed his alias |

If it isnt fraud why isnt the guy coming on to tell his side of the storry coz if it was me being acused id probably be defending my ass rite now.
and as that guy said they mite still come i dont think many people send u the stuff until the checks cleared. |

I have know of Media Mail taking up to three weeks to be delivered. It is the lowest priority service that USPS has.
Perhaps you could pay via Paypal next time? They offer a "guarantee" service for a nominal fee. If you don't get your records, they will refund your money. |

| I said the only guy with that name I know from California is Spective but I said, I was not sure. I said if it is the guy then don't worry about it. The mail is never that reliable, they say 4-5 days, people get lazy, so what if you worked at a mail office, the mail may take longer at times. See I would not have posted about this to begin with and I would have waited another week for the shipment because are'nt you badmouthing the person's name on a forum, there are issues at times and happens. I mean mail is slow at times, that is life, IrishPost lost my signed U2 poster, bunch of bastards but there is nothing you can do about it. Technically something is not lost in the post till after a few months. I'd have waited for an answer, people get busy at times and maybe the mail held it up, it's not uncommon. |

9 days not including the Holiday weekend? Just be patient. Worse case scenario...since you wrote a check it can be traced back to that person's bank. Give it some more time and then if you still don't receive anything (records or a response) consult with your bank to see if you have any options. Andy is right...the mail can be slow and so can people. |
