Where does it snow in Australia? I always thought the sea would keep the winter warm and the desert was already in a tropical area :conf:

Spec: i'll build lots of them

Lira: pffft HAHAHAH!!!! lol thats probably the worst stereotype of australia i've heard... (no offense) its like me saying that all canadians speak french and are ahmish.. :/ whatever

but no - the cities dont get snow although they get fkn cold in winter and fkn hot in summer, but we get snow in the mountains in Victoria and New South Wales

and check it out - these igloos are made of a new type of Brick - hard to get and also hard to manipulate into general brickwork, contact Anomyst for any orders

Cool, well I'm thinking of using a timber frame base with clay and white paint.

Might need illicit substances to assist with creativity.

It was not a stereotype. It's just that the Brazilian regions I know are in a similar latitude of Australia and usually places near the sea have warmer winters, it didn't seem logical to have snow there.

My logic is not at all wrong, as it only happened in the mountains in the Southestern part of Australia, which is in a higher latitude and receives the humid winds from the sea.

I just didn't know it was enough for a reasonable amount of snow, as we only get little snow here in somewhat similar conditions.

you got tropical australia right to the north east, starting about 2/3 up the country on the far east, then apart from there on the coast the rest of the north is pretty much desert, and in the far south east (toward antartica) you got hobart victoria and new south wales

these are the areas that get cold in winter
