Doing a little bit of background reading on arsenic. It looks as if we are all exposed to organic arsenic which is not as harmful. However, inorganic arsenic is created for one reason only. To kill by shutting down the bodies ability to function. Not sure exactly what it targets but kidneys, liver, brain, heart, lungs etc. |

Ppl like this really up the club scene. |
Very true.
But until any of this stuff actually happens to someone I know, or is reported in the media, I don't buy it. These stories go around all the time. No offense TTTC. |

I only drink my own water, or that of a very close friend.
If this is true, give her a hug for me, and lead me to the bastard to show him how sorry he is that he was ever in my vicinity. |

| When did this happen? Which night club? Status of investigation? This guy needs to be slowly run over with a golf cart as many times as it takes to powder his bones. And this could have been me so very easily! Good thing my mistake cost me a few thousand insured dollars, not my health. |

im a bit mixed about this. I know for a fact that the media only reports what it wants to and then flogs the hell out of it for sensationalism. So even just because it wasnt in the news doesnt mean it didnt happen. However, with the bias against clubs and nightlife in Canadian media i am sure they would have scared everyone half to death with this.
I guess we should just never leave any drinks out of sight and be careful and take stories like this with a grain of salt.
PS: just because its in the news doesnt make it true either. ;) |

does it really matter if it's true or not? does it first have to happen to you or to a friend of your's who is dear to you ...?
..u trust the media?!
the point is - it CAN happen!
and if it did happen, - my condolences go out to this poor girl.
let this be a reminder for all of us! be critical, use your own brain and judgment, never trust & PARTY SAFE! |

I never said "Don't be careful because this story isn't true." Being cautious is something we should all think about when we're out.
Do I trust the media? well, maybe a touch more than a message on the internet from someone I have never met. |

If this had happened it would have been in the news. Regardless, everyone should be careful!! There are enough demented people in this world for it to be possible.
