Since when do emergency doctors call the media when people are rushed to the hospital.
The incident happened in burlington where the media doesnt give a about the after hours since it doesnt exist in that city.
Also, anyone who knows me, knows i dont joke around about like this. I dont care if you dont want to believe it or try to poke holes in the story with inconsistant symptoms or lack of details.
Im not going to name the club because it could of happened anywhere.

I know Nick (TrueToTheCrew) and can vouch for him.

I hope your friend gets better, Nick. :( |

| I have heard of people putting GHB in drinks in the desperate of hope of getting laid, but never heard of like this. Its pretty damn scary. What type of sick fu@k would do something like that. |

The scene? It has nothing to do with the scene. It has to do with him being a psycho path. There are people like this all over the world, that do sick things. Not just clubs. Never judge a book by it's cover - and if someone is pressuring you that badly, then something is up.
Hopefully she will be ok |

| p.s. I got drugged at systems a few years back too. I put my glass of wine down for 2 minutes, then me and my friend shared it. WAS NOT FUN! Never again will I put my drink down, or leave it unattended. |

Yes this is a sad story if it's true and people should take a hint, but phrases like "friend of a friend of mine" and "it's not urban legend" are literally textbook cases of hoax headers. I believe that you're being honest to the best of your knowledge but maybe your friend wasn't when he told you this. I agree 100% that everyone should exercise due caution in clubs, but - I'm sorry - that opener just totally killed the credibility for the rest of it.
Yes, everyone should be careful; no, I'm not buying this story. I hate to downplay something so supposedly tragic but I honestly feel like I just read a chain "form letter" off of snopes.com.
People do get drugged or taken advantage of and that's important to understand, but as for this particular incident, I call BS.
P.S. You said it happened in Burlington but the story says Toronto. Which is it? |

omg, if u re-read his comments, you'll come to the conclusion that she drank the water in a Toronto club, but didn't go for medical attention til she got home in Burlington.
If u don't buy the story, fine, but no need to downplay the possibility of its truth, simply cuz u don't know the guy.
G-d forbid something awful happens to one of my friends & I come here and post about it....

Thanks Nat.
Nats Right, regardless, if you believe it or not, be aware of the possibility.
Dont try to discredit me if you dont know me. My intention was not to get sympathy or start a debate. I had good intentions to warn people about this sick bastard. How many times have you taken a smoke, gum, freezie or water from a person you just met and partied with. I know i have many times.
In fact, A few years ago i had taken a substance from someone one time who lied to me about what it was. I didnt want to do drugs and drank that night. Finding myself a little tired i thought 1 small line would wake me up so i can enjoy the rest of the guest dj's set. Turned out the fker gave me K while i was drunk. Passed out in the parking lot for an hour in mid december without a jacket. Worst experience in my life. I learned my lesson and always told others to learn from my stupid mistake. It could happen to anyone.
just becareful. Thats it. |

| That is terrible, but it's a lesson to all not to take anything form people you don't know. Especially someone you just met. :( :( |
