If you've given up almost everything for your girlfriend, per se....... Would you feel grateful if she were to make you the #1 priority in her life?
I'm only summing this up, it's a long story. I don't want any questions as to why I did all this for her. |

but the question is...does she feel as strongly as you do? i just broke up with a girl i'd dated for 2 years and i thought i could've spent my life with her...but we aren't together anymore and with you talking the way that you are about giving everything up...i don't want you to walk down the same path. |

Dude- first off....
#1 priority.... what does that really mean?
i think its all a matter of perspective....
Take this question into account..... what was this 'all' that you gave, and does she know it?
There are 5 love languages:
1. Physical touch
2. Gifts
3. acts of service
4. Words of affirmation
5. Quality time
You should figure out whats up to be able to communicate to her what you've given up for her...and what you expect from her to give to you. Until you've communicated this you can't really be frustrated that she does not know.
Being #1 priority means a lot....to ask that from some one should mean that there most definitely is love in the equation.... if she's your #1 and you're not hers...maybe you're whipped lol

dude, if you've made her your number one priority, she should make you HER number one priority. Else, the relationship balance is gonna be off, and problems will arise. |

Ok basically, I knew I would have to answer this.
I gave up having a job, my old residence(I moved), and I spent a lot of money...... to be with her. I'm not really whipped in my opinion, just a little more possessive than I seem to have been.
I'm not making her life terrible, although we have argued over such things as this. I told her what I've done and could have done, but she still can't come to a conclusion in her life. I really want to be with her, but now I'm not even sure of myself. Everything seems to be falling apart for me.:( |
