Can do, but give me some indication of stuff you want to see, like scenery, people, toys, etc. If left to my own devices, I'm liable to put some stuff up here that's. . .a little more juicy than the average person is going to want to see. Requests are always helpful.

Aerial shot from an OH-58 Kiowa of one of our tanks cordoning off the intersection of RTE Cardinals and RTE Arkansas in Abu Ghurayb. The neigborhood behind it abuts the old AG Market, which we blew up in Apr 04 during the Battle of Holy Week. The structures you see are about the average middle-class Iraqi housing for a Shiite community, and we didn't make it look like that. |

I could flood this thread with pictures. I literally have gigs of them.

I was usually the one behind the camera, so I didn't get a lot of pics of me with the locals. I do have shots of the locals, though.
Too easy.

By juicy I meant things like what a human body looks like after its been run over by something weighing 60+ tons and moves on track pads instead of wheels, or what a 7.62mm bullet makes a skull look like after it parts the parietal and occipital lobes with hydrostatic shock as it passes through the cranium. While some may think it's sick and wrong for me to have collected enough pics of stuff like this to warrant a folder called "The Dead", I'm a believer in archiving the entire truth of an event, no matter how grisly or unwanted, or else it's not the whole truth. Too much of this campaign has been deliberately clouded over and outright altered for political and social engineering purposes by the people who were given by writ of Constitution the task of telling the whole truth, and for that the American people and the world as an entity live in a perpetual state of disinformation.
You sure you want to look that in the face?

To tide you over, this is how you move a camel from one place to another if you are in a hurry and don't want to ride it. I think the camel's digging it, too. :p |

ok no juicy stuff :wtf:
even though having the truth is vital in a situation like that, especially when everyone seems to be covering everything up to make it all look peachy keen, i don't think i could handle seeing a dead person right now :(
but other pictures would be cool
action shots if you got'em

As you wish. :D

Shot of an AH-64 Apache Longbow cruising on a flyby near Logistical Base Seitz. We based a tank QRF (quick reaction force) at LB Seitz because it was run by support reservists with hardly any firepower of their own. We figured they could use the protection, and they figured we could use easy access to maintenance, fuel, and other sundries. It was a beautiful combination.

A VBIED that detonated near the Green Zone/International Zone, often called by the media "The safest place in Baghdad". Only they would manage to whelp such a large turd of bull, since we all knew better.
One of the guard towers near Baghdad International Airport. It had seen better days. V Corps handled this one, and the legacy remained even after we got there and then left.

Aerial shot of a pair of A 1-5 Cav's Bradley IFVs and a couple of M1026 Humvees during the establishment of what would later become a permanent traffic control point on RTE Cardinals.

Why tanks rule. RPGs don't mean a damn thing to an M1A2 SEP. That's one of B 2-12's tanks during a lull in the Battle of Holy Week, circa April 2004. |
