| He is a good producer/remixer. Though not the best. |

| he used to be an amazing producer/remixer and was a great dj but I think he has fallen off the bandwagon with productions and remixes. The old PvD owned tho, I'm sure the vandit whores like mikey mike will input their 2 cents. |

Why do we constantly need more than one PvD "appreciation" thread going at one time? There'll like 40+ PvD fans to sprawl on every one PvD hater.
Ol' school PvD was teh . It's a shame he stinks now. |

| At least see him live before you form an opinion. Radio rips for the mp3 kiddies don't do justice to a real set. |

| I agree. Talented and used to produce fantastic tracks. Now his sound is becoming to monotonous. He has experimented with some breaks, which is cool, but you can't miss that he produced them. I would like for him to branch out and do something different. Hell, use a new bassline. The PVD line is awesome and unique from other djs, but he produces enough tracks with it for me to be sick of the sound. Do something more progressive or more dark. His tracks are catchy now, but they wear off way too quickly. Phenomenal mixer, but, again, the sound is getting tired. No disrespect to PVD, though, it is just my opinion. He is still a pioneer. |

| zabiela may be more skilled but his tunes make me yawn after a while. sasha has the best overall tracklists/mixing skill. best producer to holden or bt. |

He's great live, I've seen him once (missed him the other two times he has played here since 2001...lol)
He played a ton of OTAB songs but you did not care
how is it a crock of infinitesquare? I liked the old PvD better than the new PvD, I feel his productions were better. You can't go back to yesterday but you can always prefer older tunes over new ones. |
