One credit you have to give to America is that, well, it's ing HUGE. Therefore there's going to be a lot of American news generated. Kind of blurs out the international news. :/
On another note, Americans can be rather stupid. I recently spent a term in the UK, and I'm not so sure that Americans realise that the British didn't get taken over by Germany. I've had numerous people ask me if they speak German in England. What the is that? Smack yourselves. It's England ffs, they speak English.
To be fair, people from other countries can be just as dumb. It seems like just about every Brit I met asked me if I own a gun. Yes, all Americans own a Glock and run around shooting each other. :rolleyes: |
