Doesn't make me feel all that safe about walking through the Orange Room on my way between Koolhaus and Guv... I mean, trance addiscts are too relaxed and happy to get into any kind of altercation (can't even think of the last time I saw a fight (other than a couple asian chicks bitch slapping each other over some guy at Tiesto) at a real trance event.
But Hip Hop fans seem to shoot/knife each other with alarming frequency. |

| Well, i had a great time, and everyone i went with also enjoyed the whole night! I loved Marco V. he was amazing my first time hearing him live...and well astral projection i thought was very intertaining...seemed like they knew how to party, i talked to one of the guys for a bit on the dance floor seemed really cool! :) and i didn't really know much about MIKE, but was i ever impressed, i was so tired after driving to TO. and partying all night but i still danced my ass off! i loved it.!!! great night! The bar wasn't too packed either that was a bonus...went over to guv after kool haus closed and well it was alright but i was sooooo tired by then :( |

Nope. I saw it on the Global 5:30 news. They even had a shot of the outside of the Guv as they described the fact that he was a fairly well known local Hip Hop promoter. They made it a point to say it was neither drug nor gang related and that they thought it was a "targeted killing" that was something to do with an "Altercation" that happened earlier at at the Orange Room. |

wow i just read this whole entire review and i cant believe all the complaining i heard! what ever happened to just going out to a party with friends to listen to some good music and have a good time?
iv'e read so many rude comments on here about the israeli
people...so what if they were chanting israel...or holding up their flag, and people saying they were acting like maniacs?? they were having a good time! whats so terrible about that??
as for astral..so what there were a few fukk ups..owell.. happens, but the music was still amazing, and if you dont like psytrance you didnt have to hang out in that room, and BIG deal if they like to drink, and as for the squirting champagne on people..well its a PARTY! how can you go to a club/party and get pissed about something getting on you? it happens ALL the time, people sometimes bump into me and spill drinks on me, but i dont let it put a damper on my whole nite! if they did "fake" their set thats a little messed up but i was too busy dancing and enjoying the music, not analyzing every move they made, as for fukking up the other dj's sets i do agree that is disrespectful.
and the people complaning about mikes set having too many classics??
cmon, some people just seem to have to complain about something. well my only complaint about his set was that it should have been earlier, cuz by the time he went on my legs were hurting so bad i couldnt even think about dancing, so sitting there and hearing all those amazing tracks and not being able to go crazee was torture..
and then hearing that i left b4 universal nation? well that sucked too! other than that mikes set was great!
its just that after reading all the complaints on here i wonder why some of you even go to parties..it seems like some people are so busy analyzing every little thing that a DJ/ARTIST does or what other people are doing, they cant let themselves have a good time.

Astral Projection crossed that line...particularly in disrupting the sets of Marco and M.I.K.E....as was posted, Marco himself was annoyed at the way those guys were acting, saying he'd never witnessed crap that like that before. M.I.K.E. told them off too. How can anyone say that behaviour is cool and that people are just complaining?
And I had no problems with the flag bearers...I like seeing that level of enthusiasm from fans!
As far as live PA sets go from our Israeli friends, Infected Mushroom's set in Jan (with G&D and Rank 1) was WAY better than AP's set this past weekend. I'll cross them off the list of people I care to hear in the future.
ah, how did I forget thanking the crew?!? Half my fun comes from being around good people....trancekyd, *THANK YOU* for leading us straight to the front for Marco's set!!! I think I only had a so-so time at Decadence because everyone was on different wavelengths and it was great to be in sync with someone throughout the night! Chrismack, beanieboy, Cedric, Chris, Natalie (and your friend who's name I forget)...always a pleasure! :)
Next up...J00F, followed by Scumfrog & Pete Tong! Then LoL! This is turning out to be one hell of a summer :D |
Anal Projection stinks...bunch of jack asses...those supporting their faced behaviour were jack asses...they couldnt care less if they killed a person in the crowd...their "supporters" (not of their music but of where they are from...call it an inerior complex if u wish) are jack asses..after reading most of the posts many still dont know half the they did..."partying"...my ass |
