everything they say is based on emotions.....their ideas are great, but they just don't work in the real world.....we live in an imperfect world, and we are all human....we have to make the best of it, and this requires rational thought, not baseless emotional rants. |

There are many "hippies" that are just there to appear intellectual and because it's the trendy opinion of the time. There can be a point when there's too many but, I don't think we've reached this point yet. You forget that America is still run by corporations, corrupt politics, the "man", etc. So obviously we haven't reached situation where there are so many radicalists running around that we can't get anything done. |

I decided that it wasnt worth responding to. In all honesty I think that we all have our opinions on this and its never going to change. This is all hippy vs. tightass right now... and really it might belong in political debate with what you were going into. In fact, you might get better conversation there. I seem to think so, at least. |

I don't like political debate, maybe due to the fact that I hate politics.
Its interesting that people are so quick to put you in a stereotypical box when you express an opinion, such as the idiot that called me the name of some right wing US jock. This just shows that people aren't thinking with their own brain or offering their own opinion, they've just been brainwashed into a thought process.
Its not matter of changing opinions, and I'd lower my opinion of you if you thought this was the objective of debate. |
