I agree to that on some level. After reading that and thinking about it, all I can really do is ask, why havnt you said anything positive about cultures and societies, I mean that was at least a positive enough reply, and it did not insult anyone. Its a start.
We all live in the same world, hippie's do what they do and you do what you do and I do what I do, etc etc. What are these positive people doing agrivate you? They arnt ing terrorists, their belifs arnt trying to do anything except better the world, and live free. How do you think life should be? Id go with those dopes anyday. If it werent for hippies and the like, we could all be stuck in a government rut. Its good we have hippies to balance things out. If there was no green peace, Im sure there would be lots more animals extict and dying species. Lots of land has been kept clear of the ever spreading industrialism. They help keep a part of the world that is so ing hard to access. Its dying everyday. If we didnt have those goofy ******s to spread their beliefs and protect whats left of this free, natural world, we would all be misserable compared to how we are now. You dont think things would get worse? Or change much? would get out of balance. You have to think about how there people and there desicions effect the world, not just you sitting at you computer. Good for you, you dont like them, but take some serious time and think about it buddy |

I don't think your rationale is sensible.
I think that your opinion has been shaped by the tendency to rebel against those in power, ie the government, and side with extreme groups because you feel you it is essential to be extreme to make a difference.
Although your use of written language is good enough to present a fair analysis of your opinion and thoughts, you aren't looking at the bigger picture fully, although I will compliment you at least looking at a slightly bigger picture than most of the idiots that have posted so far.
Just think for a moment that if extreme groups didn't exist would public opinion and Government policy still be able to change? My feelings are that extreme groups are ineffective because people are sick of their Utopian approach to society and the 'peace is possible' ideal that is clearly delusional. When these groups, wuch as the hippies, come out and say something, rational people just switch off because they've heard it all before.
And btw Greenpeace are the worse than some of the companies they protest against. |
